Renting cost RM300 per month if you stay alone.
Internet connection, electricity and water maybe would add on RM100.
Entertainment and misc RM100.
Transportation RM50

You could survive with RM1k every month. Excluding house and internet deposits.

1 Can I wear black jeans instead of black slack pants on orientation week ?
2 Must I go everyday of orientation week ?
3 On registration day must I wear formal too ?
4 After register at 9am can I go back to my hostel or juz stay in mmu till 2pm ?

hello guys.... i mailed my admission forms to MMU before the deadline (may 6th ) but till now i still haven't receive the postcard! i'm starting to get worried now as they might not receive the mail... what should i do?

it depends on how you spend la actually.. if you want to be on the cheapest side, MMU hostel + food only without entertaiment...then it would be like 400 per month

1) no, it is not advisable..buy 1 slack lah as you will also be needing it during your classes presentations
2) no need on registration day.. but appropriate attire (long pants for guys, no mini skirt /spaghetti strap for girls)

you can try to call up and ask...they will be open tomorrow

i live here for 1 year already, i didnt spend anything on entertainment, only foods and bills
around rm300~400 since i dont really eat 3times/day, just around 1 or 2 time per day.
also, i live in ixora, so my usage didnt count quarterly room rent, just pocket money
err you sure you got accepted? that's what they give if you got rejected though, try to give a call to admission unit

1. anything that looks smart on you
2. if u feels free and wanted to know more about campus and find more friends, why not?
3. i think this one is formal
4. after finish can straightaway go back home.. usually evening got orientation briefing..

i checked on9 and they said i've been accepted.. nvm, my frend also got there and he said that after 1 week he received the book, the letter will arrive..

i called admission unit already... they didn't receive the mail... and when I called the post office they said they have no record of the posdaftar mail that i sent... DIEEE.

Cyberjaya campus. I were in June batch 2010/2011

1. NO jeans. ONLY slack. That's an order from all OC aka Orientation Committee.
2. Optional but if yes, do it tactically. Avoid getting caught, it really doesn't matter because the orientation is very strict, you may get frustrated with those OC behavior on you.
3. Slack pants, collar shirt ... semi-formal are acceptable, they won't kick you out though
4. 9am start registration, but the queue and crowds will last you till 11am and if you are staying in hostel, cleaning etc will last you till afternoon. Staying near, having transport, finished registration early, you may go back ...

I am currently in Cyberjaya campus. Facilities are still consider new, classes, rooms, pool, gym etc all are still in good condition.
Living condition, it's kinda expensive here. If you save up, you can survive with rm10 excluded entertainment a day, but if you are those big eater, definitely MORE than rm10 (well, this is KL lifestyle) And it's a deserted place, most buildings are IT HQ, entertainment closest is Alamanda, Putrajaya but it's kinda dead there like IOI MALL (supposingly you need pass through a toll but there's a short cut you can use to escape toll, others like MidValley, Sunway tolls are needed) so you don't find much funs but if ONLY movie-based, no problemo. And you DEFINITELY need car for travelling but cars can be rented here but I heard it's ALL MANUAL DRIVE (too bad for those auto drivers)

It's super HOT here, irregular raining condition. The whole KL rains EXCEPT cyberjaya. It's very hot especially summer season comes. Rainy season, FREEZING COLD !!! ... That's all for the updates

Hi, I just know that mmu offers merit scholarship and I'm eligible for it. Is there anyway I can apply for it online or I'm already too late for that?

Need help. Currently i've been looking for a single room to stay while i study in melaka and i've found a room over here (link). this so called uncle teo will help me get a room at bukit beruang utama. but he said i need to giv him deposit of 750. im from sabah. is it likely tht i kena scam?. but on the other hand. the uncle is afriad tht i say reserve but then cabut last minute. so tht's why he wants the deposit first.
