is it worth to get this phone??... if im not mistaken its around RM1399 rite??... i tested in 1utama samsung booth....its running android 2.3 right??... how is the performance of the phone??... camera good??.....and most importantly how much is the storage provided by this phone?

i tried to factory reset my SGs, but when the fon reboot it hanged on a black screen and the 2 capacitive button flashing and SGs vibrating

That is where I download my GT_I9000_DXJV9_DXJV9_OLBJV9_Sbl. but I also got 3 files only. What kind of file is bootloader and how do we know if we flash it or not? I don't remember checking the "phone bootloader update" button so not sure if I have update my phone bootloader.

Guys..need help..am trying to install MIUI..i followed this step..

there're downloads under 2 headings, one's With bootloader, the other's without. Make sure u download the one With bootloader, then u'll get 3 files, flash them accordingly. you don't have to tick "Phone Bootloader Update" since it's included in PDA, it'll be flashed anyway.

If u don't have recovery mode and laggy/corrupted boot animation, most likely u din have an updated bootloader

EDIT: if u don't have the updated bootloader, flash it over here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1047924. remember to tick "Phone Bootloader Update"

NOTE: It's not recommended to flash bootloader alone. some Gingerbread has different bootloaders. make sure the above is compatible wif ur GB. better to flash the whole rom.

ok u go into recovery and make factory reset? should be no problem want what. u try hold volume up+home button +power to enter recovery and try factory reset again. if still the same u have to reflash your rom by odin.

i tried the 3 button, and was shown the green/yellow droid with the showel

huh?! u enter download mode? did u make mistake? volume UP not down. if u didnt make mistake then the only way you can do is reflash your rom. try this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1011901 dxjv9 is the official gingerbread for us.

Yup...still got recovery mode...I think I do indeed have the updated bootloader...thanks for ur help guys...maybe I'll try a reflash and see why I'm getting this weird laggy animation...

yea, I only experience laggy boot animation last time too. if it's laggy then shld be ok, corrupted then u nid the bootloader

Added on June 6, 2011, 6:57 pmRM1399? I think that's the I9003 one with SLCD screen instead of SAmoled. If you're looking at the SAmoled version, I'd recommend you take a look at Xperia Play and LG Optimus 2X too.
