guys, my phone can't call this morning!
i go checked my bill, it came out last night, total amount due RM360++
for the internet section:
24/04/11-23/05/11 GPRS/EDGE/3G 1,567,880KB 7,839.40
Rebate for GPRS/EDGE/3G Usage (1.5GB/month) -7,121.20
SubTotal for GPRS/EDGE/3G 718.20
1567880Kb is equal to 1.49GB, not more than 1.5GB...
maxis charge for monthly passes is 5 sen/10kb
7121.20 is equal only 1.35GB, so we can only use 1.35GB instead of 1.5GB???
this is very overcharge for me, how can i get back what i deserve?
Its really very hard to talk to them. They will just tell you that is how they charge. I got slap with a Rm160 for 4MB of 3G internet usage for testing out my wifi teethering when I don't subscribe to any 3G package. I call them up and scream about the outrageous charges and all they say is that is it the rate for per per use. I terminate my line after that. So if you plan to use mobile internet, do get a plan and don't exceed the quota or get Digi internet.
I am on Celcom mBasic which I pay Rm38 for 1 GB but i got a shock too a few days ago. My bill cycles start from 13 of the month and on the 24th of May, i got an sms reminding me that i am reaching my 1GB limit. I track my 3G Watchdog usage and it shows 280mb since I bought my SGS more than 3 weeks ago. So I call 1111 to find out why is my usage so much different from theirs. I only use my mobile for light surfing and no youtube or download at all so I believe my 3GWatchdog reading is correct. On the other hand I always switch to 2G edge when I am not surfing.
But Celcom customer service kept saying my usage has reach 790MB since my last bill cycle. Then I request for a breakdown and discover that on the 20th May their system shows I used 131MB and on the 21st May it shows I used 530MB!!! Wtf...my 3GWatchdog shows I use only 8MB for these 2 days. How the hell did celcom manage to charge me so much which I never use!!! I argue with them for an hour on the phone and they say they cannot do anything. FUUUCK YOU CELCOM.
I am still not happy so I went to the Celcom branch and have them investigate on the breakdown of my usage on these 2 days. They still haven't get back to me.
