for a year old car, bushes and engine mounting rarely giving problem.
down to tires choice and wheel bearing. which tires brand and model you bought?
perhaps, wait a little longer until your new tires fully run in.

coolkwc@
to get the accurate reading, check the tires' pressure when the tires is cold. ie; morning or only driven for a kilometer. anyway, 250kpa is too high for comfort.

reef_d@
hr2 and v8 sux. v8 sometimes caused inaccurate alignment thus tires require swapping.
better go for more expensive hankook's v12 or s1evo.

I'm not quite sure but I think this model:

195/55R15 Continental Comfort Contact 1 - RM175

Hi guys,

I will be getting a forte soon, does the silverstone tyre comes with it good?

I wanted to change to Nexen 6000. Anyone here can recommend me a good tyre on grip and comfort? Btw my tire size is 215/45R17

you can check the price HERE
15" will give a better handling. 195/55/r15 should be okay.

yours is forte 1.6 or 2.0? if it was 2.0, changing the tires may require calibration of mdps module.
for grip and comfort, you can try ps3.

reasonable price. maxxis ipro should offer more fun, also the noisiest. if you're on tight budget, could try the yokohama a.r1.
possibly avoiding the ns700.

It's 1.6. PS3 is nice but the price is abit steep for me. Is nexen good? or its just hype?

since it was of directional tread, stay away from it if noise is one of your priority.

not really a fan of continental. perhaps, you could google up for review by other user.
autoworld or zth.

nexen is fine but quite noisy thou. other option like falken ze-912 is comfortable but thread wear out a tad faster.

i'm thinking on changing my new Accord 2.0 from 16" to 17" or 18".
- will the change effect the FC of Accord?
- if using 17" or 18" wheels, which size suit the best? My current tyre now is 215/60R16.
- if upgrade the wheels/rims size, will it effect the comfort? Since my area road quite bumpy.

I blew up my tire due to hitting a pothole hard. SC only did alignment, not balancing. Would balancing necessary in this case ah?

Now can I just get a second-hand spare tire, since my 'spare' is now used on my car (same type with existing). Would this be a good idea?

it will effect fc if you use bigger rims which if compared to oem rim, is much heavier.. if you go with branded/ori sports rims then they should be lighter then your oem rims thus maintaining your FC or give slightly better FC..

17" -> profile 55.. should still give you some level of comfort...
18" -> expect minimal comfort levels..

yes.. if you want your tyre treadwear to be even.. also effects comfortness at high speeds..
2nd hand tires would be fine for your backup spare as long as they are not more then 3 years old.. check the manufacturing date on the tire wall when purchasing 2nd hand tires..
