sifus...
i need some suggestion for replacement current GT Radial 205/55/R16
what is the best tyre for noise reduction, superior grip, a bit of performance, comfort?

i've make a list so far

yokohama c.drive2
Michelin PS3
continental MC5 & CC5
Hankook Ventus V12 evo

may i know some feedback and recommendation...
not much knowledge on tyres. 😅😅😅
for budget, roughly below RM2k

Proton preve? laugh.gif
I just changed mine last month. Dunlop D05
No complains, quieter than stock and more comfortable. Also more grip in the rain.
Just my 2c

I owned a Honda City 2013 model, now the tyres totally worn out. Never change tyres since. Mileage about 46k. Soon will be working on sales. Expecting some heavy duty on the car.
Tyre spec is 185/55 R16. Budget ard 300+-
Hopefully can get tyres good on dry and wet condition (I prioritize on wet condition feature), comfort and durability.

Need recommendations from you bros. Thankss

advan db is soft/premium comfort tire bro, not exactly performance oriented.

PS3/RE003 would be more suitable if you're leaning to more performance
*
you're right, maybe I wasn't clear, but I meant that either my next change would be to performance-oriented tyres like PS3/RE003/etc, or if I were to stick to comfort-oriented tyres, I would consider the Advan DB.

Personally I've tried ps3, I still think it's an overhype tyre.
It's good when new, like shit after 50% wear off (noisy and wear unevenly), worse is the surface tend to chip off. The chip off issue also happen to my bro in law car with different size ps3. So I think its this tyre behaviours.
Anyway, it's just my personal opinion on it.
*
Hi, is the chip off like this?

Continental Sport Contact 5
Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2
Both are excellent tires, comparable or maybe even better than PS3.
