Bro,
I'm planning to change my stock 215/50/17 mc5 on the inspira..any recommendation for budget around 400 a piece..maybe something slightly sportier/grippier but not too noisier than mc5.. and how wide can the stock rim accomodate..

225 is probably the max you can go on 7.5jj. Mine was aftermarket so not sure on stock size.

Can go with yokohama s drive,  or AE50, Michelin ps3, Bridgestone RE003. Budget wise may be out of your 400 per piece though.
*
235/45 can still use minimum 7.5jj rims but 225 or 215 look better.
If budget only max rm400, probably better just try GT Radial HPY or Falken Azenis FK453.

my estima was using 215/60R17. however this is not common and so i was using 215/55R17.

1. I notice my speedometer is slower by 10%. To correct this, is it recommended to use 225/55R17 ?

2. How can I check if my estima can take 235/55R17 without causing Lock up when cornering.

suggested use back 215/60/17.
if u use 235/55/17 the speedometer would be different as well.
225/55/17 would be closer to stock size.

I have got an offer for goodyear f1 d5 teres. But these teres are 2 years old. Year 2014.

215/45/17

RM330/pcs. Is this worth it? Cause i worry the rubber already harden.

Any comments?

1-2yrs old still ok if you think you'll finish them in about 3-4yrs of use.

Hi

Any suggestion for 205/60 R16 tyres? need to change my inspira tyres, after 5 years... nod.gif

COnti CC5
Yokohama C-Drive
Michelin Primacy 3st
Yokohama AE50
any else?

Which durable and worth for long life span?

One more noob question here, if let say we using punctured tyre but already tampal the hole, still safe to long journey?

Thanks in advance

after patching the hole stil can use.if centre if the tyre surface is normal.patch at the side is less safe, sometimes could leak.
3st is one superb tyre for quiet and comfort.but price of course highest among those brand mention.

Tumpang thread for awhile, should I replace my Michellin XM2 (185/60/R14) based on the pictures below?

Tyre age is 4.5 years already, didn't travel far, at most also 70k km.

If I were you, I'd still continue to use it. It's still above the tread wear indicator marking, right? No signs of major cracks also right?
