Pick up this tip over at the Asus Transformer thread I apply RainZ (a RainX alternative) I can noticeably see less finger on the screen. Also I notice that the glass is slightly less smooth. I am happy with the result as the fingerprints are driving me crazy.

Yes it can be rooted easily by just using gingerbreak ver 1.2

Nothing exciting yet for custom roms - you can check xda there are about 2-3 versions, didn't,t bother to try as are just minor tweaks
There is a beta honeycomb 3.1 available too but not fully working with minor issues

ah I should have read up.

It needs to be locked on potrait mode, enabled "USB" debugging, and also a MicroSD card inserted. any data onthe microsd would be wiped off.

and it has to be connected to the comp too!

Read again. Just run the gingerbreak apk file on the tab. No need to connect to pc to do it. And data on ext micro SD card will not be deleted. Only internal sdcard data will be wiped

ClockworkMod recovery working for Iconia : straightforward process. If from terminal entry do check thoroughly your spelling before moving to next line

Mind sharing in your opinion is this worth flashing while waiting for official? If no tangible benefit I think I will wait

Here is a screenshot to show ClockworkModrecovery ver 5.0 installed. This CWM will be very useful to :

1. Backup and restore fully your Iconia : all your data/apps/etc as it is
2. Flashing new roms or kernels

Just HOLD DOWN vol up button ( near to power button ) and POWER button simultaneously and letgo after you see the prompts appearing at the top left hand corner

Sorry shot not too well taken and screen dirty too
