I just got quoted RM1499 for iconia tab + a free case...

senq or senheng discount rm100 for their member..so rm1499 this month only.. really quite a good price..and 2 yr warranty, one yr from acer and another 1 yr from them..

I'm actually got quoted from one of the shop here not from senq or senheng... is really a good bargain...

proud owner of iconia A500 reporting in. Hope this thread is kept alive by users.

Which SenQ or shengheng got stock.. i stay in PJ area....

I bought it in Penang, RM 1588 with free case. Just bought it last Friday. The seller is on Lowyat forum as well.

So far I am really happy with it. The wifi connection works well, although I think it's not as powerful as I'd like but good enough. The flexibility to attach microSD and USB is really why I bought it, not to mention 32gb is a lot for the price

how about the screen quality??
is the screen unscatchable?
how much for a screen protector??

have you tested to attached a usb mouse, keyboard, pen drive or external hdd? any problem detecting them??

Any idea the Aconia can plug in the digi/maxis usb modem & online since it has the USB port? Maybe those who got it already can share their experience. Thanks.

I don't have a screen protector yet. To me the screen is acceptable, very responsive, not as bright as other tabs but the black levels are amazing.

I have tested with a USB pen drive and 320gb 2.5" hdd.
As long as you have a file reader app like Astro, no problem reading files. I only wish my maxis USB,modem would work but nit really a problem.

Lowyat thundermatch is selling for $1499 with free case cash and carry. Credit card need to add 2%. Played with both the iconia and transformers side by side, and the display was the same from my naked eye. The iconia is really solid and more comfortable to hold in both potrait and landscape mode. The transformers makes little creak noise when holding it due to the plastic back. Only complaint is the AC charger cable for the iconia is too short IMO at 3 feet.

leaning to a500 as well as heard so much problem with asus. but the IPS panel and docking+extra battery life is the selling point for asus.

there already ntfs-3g ported to iconia. i saw it at xda.

thats pretty cool..how abt the casing? issit the free case is the sleeve type? mind to show the photos of the case?

for the charger, can it be charge thru a micro usb port by using those micro usb charger??
