I bought it in Penang, RM 1588 with free case. Just bought it last Friday. The seller is on Lowyat forum as well.

So far I am really happy with it. The wifi connection works well, although I think it's not as powerful as I'd like but good enough. The flexibility to attach microSD and USB is really why I bought it, not to mention 32gb is a lot for the price

just test my friend A500. The screen looks dark even set to brightess.

I don't have a screen protector yet. To me the screen is acceptable, very responsive, not as bright as other tabs but the black levels are amazing.
I have tested with a USB pen drive and 320gb 2.5" hdd.
As long as you have a file reader app like Astro, no problem reading files. I only wish my maxis USB,modem would work but nit really a problem.

Lowyat thundermatch is selling for $1499 with free case cash and carry. Credit card need to add 2%. Played with both the iconia and transformers side by side, and the display was the same from my naked eye. The iconia is really solid and more comfortable to hold in both potrait and landscape mode. The transformers makes  little creak noise when holding it due to the plastic back. Only complaint is the AC charger cable for the iconia is too short IMO at 3 feet.

My POV is that it's excellent.

You have to try it to see for yourself la. Like I said earlier, it works for me because I don't have to buy an additional dock etc just to get USB. The Battery life is also not bad.

bought it from sengheng kota damansara also. from what they mention, not all sengheng branch is selling this.

dont worry, if they dont have the stock, you can place your order and collect it few days later.. 

no, mine dont come with a free case.. other than the tab itself, you will get mini USB cable and charger.. i bought the case separately from online.. that cost me another few bucks.. 

I tend to disagree. Reason being, iconia has 2 built in USB port, 1 full USB and 1 microusb. Iconia has a dedicated orientation lock hard button. Iconia has a protection cover for the microsd slot. Iconia has led flash for the camera. Transformer do not have all these. So in terms of hardware, Asus has less.

But personally I prefer my gadgets to be nwked coz I enjoy the original design and feel of my stuffs. So what I usually do is laminate them at my usual lamination shop and use a sleeve or leather pouch. Having said that, the original Acer case that came with it is just perfect

yeah bro.of course.xoom is just too expensive.. Iconia is rm500 less..but most probably i will wait till end of may/early june b4 i purchase it..but seriously, 4 any of u still in doubt,just go test it yourself.. I was so tempted just nw,but gotta wait till payday tho.haha

Got my iconia after test against eee pad n zoom. i dont find it laggy. at least the swipe across screen is smoother than my Tab

Comes with acer sleeve case i dont like it
Bought just for testing only as still prefer 7" tab
