Hi guys i am trying to choose between these two 14" laptops. And also for these two 15" laptops
TimelineX 4830TG, i5-2410M + GT540M vs A43Sv, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT540M@RM2899 Aspire 5750G, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT540M(2GB) @RM2899 vs N53Sv, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M(1GB)@RM2599 May i know how different an i7 processor is to an i5? Is there a big leap in performance?? When i looked at notebookcheck i5 and i7 pcs perform the same for games/performance under the same graphic card. And between Asus and Acer which is a seemingly more reliable brand?? Many people around me that i have asked seem to be hinting problems with acer and are pushing me to go for Asus. Currently my eye is on the Acer timeline 4830TG.. And also budget under RM3k Any other laptop suggestions that might beat the ones on top? |

N55SF, not my cup of tea. Looks like Asus is going for pseudo-unibody construction now.
If they changed the keyboard and made a 14" version, that would pique my interest. |
