so the difference is just usb 3.0 and screen size?
I think 15.6 is very puas hati lah. You think?

Btw, starcraft 2 can run smoothly on N53SV kah?  flex.gif
*
it's running on gt540m, so should be more than enough,

you can refer to this thread though

does the vostro line use switchable graphic? the detail on dell website is quite confusing

QUOTE
Smarter graphics: Boost your graphics performance with Vostro's switchable graphics. Vostro 3450 laptops use a high-performance Nvidia® video card for graphics-intensive tasks. When it detects that you require less power, it automatically switches the visually smart Intel integrated HD graphics — helping deliver more performance on a single battery charge.

i thought in configuration page, you can choose either radeon 6630 and intel hd, it should be just either one?

iirc, it is only backward compatible,

putting 3.0 into 2.0 wont work, but
putting 2.0 in 3.0 should work just fine

i think thats the case,
usb 2.0 doesnt have sufficient power to power 3.0 device in the first place

Hi guys!

What do you think about A53Sv, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M (2GB)@RM2599?

Im after performance, battery life and some gaming.

I was thinking about the n53sv but got disappointed with the keyboard

All opinions are greatly appreciated.
*
dissapointed with the flex? if so, a53sv is also 15 inch, the flex is more apparent compared to 14 inch

Thanks for the reply,

yeah the keyboard flex. I got the chance to compare the units' keyboard. For me, I think the a53sv keyboard is better. But I haven't seen reviews for the A53sv that's why I would like to hear your opinions..
*
lol when i thought that n-series build quality supposed to better sweat.gif

im no expert, but imho, chances of flex will happened in both model

if restricted to these 2 model,

based on same spec, n53sv should have better build quality, paired with b&o speaker summore.
plus maybe can opt for 1gb vram instead of 2gb?

maybe sifu can give their opinion laugh.gif laugh.gif

went to shop again today, another promoter told me better to take a53sv rather than n53sv as keyboard not good + B&0 not really great. Save few hundred some more. What do you guys think?
*
since both model have different keyboard, it all comes down to your personal preferences.
maybe can test both first, see which one that you like? smile.gif

and B&O even though not really great, still an above average speaker laugh.gif laugh.gif
