Anyone knows a good area in the Klang valley for me to check out some Asus laptops? Or perhaps even a Lowyat forum contact to purchase from?

Added on July 7, 2011, 1:53 am Budget? Usage? Preferred screen size? [/quote] Oh right, sorry. I was thinking the Asus U41SV. Usage mostly for university work so I need something light and with a good battery life. Screen about 14 inch so it's just big enough for me to read notes from. Though with a bit of gaming capabilities for when I'm on the go. I'll be getting a new desktop PC for the more high end gaming so that part isn't really a huge issue. |

Asus U41Sv would be good enough~Other alternatives would be Asus A43Sv, Asus N43Sl, Asus U31Sd and Acer TimelineX 4830Tg |

U41Sv i've seen the underside of it... the vents are nicely placed to promote cooling .. i rmb one is direct under processor, one is uncer ram.. and the other forgot.. |

Acer TimelineX 4830Tg offers long battery life and lighter weight; but the battery is integratedI gonna use for graphic extensive work and processing. cannot go for desktop coz move around much n budget not more than 3000. Asus A43Sv has a non-integrated battery and comes with 2 years international warranty, but its heavier and comparatively bulkier |

thanks for the fast answer. integrated means battery cannot come off? long battery life is a plus but how about build quality?

Yeap, cannot take out the battery As for built quality, both are good, though personally I think the A43Sv is slightly more sturdy since its not as thin as the Acer |

haha.. depends mau lighter and abit sexier lappy, but integrated battery that is hard to take out(will need screwdriver)
or want a standard lappy that is normal battery. 4830tg can hav longer batt life cz gt optimus a43sv dun hav but dpends on people... optimus can be blessing or a pain(imagine incompatibility! go and have a feel of these two models... lolx.. if 4830tg nt integrated i would hav chose that di lu. |
