This is a topic for EVERYBODY out there that needs special recommendation on buying a new laptop...

To request recommendation, what u need to post:

1. Brand - any
2. Budget - 1.5 - 3k
3. Specs - non-gaming, college use, long battery life
4. Size - 14 inch

Any new topic regarding recommendations shall be closed/deleted without explaination...

It gets hot when on load, most laptops do....
Constant web surfing is not considered as "load" to a laptop nowadays haha smile.gif

May i ask downgrade from Asus A52JR i3 model to HP DM1 is a bad idea?
How come some many tell me it is a bad idea?

Hey guys! whoa i had to click from V2 till here rclxms.gif took me quite some time..

Well, Im looking a laptop this month, either buying it here or in Singapore. Budget is around 2k-3k, may do some gaming , just a little bit, looking for a 15" .. what do u guys recommend? Ive been thinking of the HP G6
