amd processors come with integrated gpu, radeon 6250 that are very worth the money... better than intel's integrated crappy cards. onpar with nvidia's ion dedicated card.

read this.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-C-50-Note...or.40960.0.html

erm... if i am on budget.. i would choose amd APU anytime over intel...

intel atom+dedicated nvidia ion is going to be pricier...

edit: amd is bang for buck in the budget line.. seriously.. the other intel solutions have just intel gma3150....

an all-rounder is better to wrk with than a big cpu and a itty bitty gpu. thumbup.gif

Alright, so for now i'm deciding between the Asus U41SV and Acer 4830TG. I'm fine with the integrated battery thing. It's a bit hard for me to find specs for the Acer laptop though, does anyone know it's full spec and perhaps a reliable review?

Also, as an added note, I'm heading to the UK in a month so i'll need one with good international warranty! And, as usual, i'm open to any more recommendations smile.gif

This is the place to go for 4830Tg associated stuffs: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1806729
You can extend international warranty for your Acer, but then its going to cost alot haha~

Getting an Asus will be better since most of them come with 2 years international warranty

Asus comes with default 2 years INTERNATIONAL warranty.. haha... though it would be wise to give Asus malaysia service center a call to confirm whther u can service it thr... lolx..

if u dun mind slowness u can email asus but mind u... mine took 4 days to reply... still better than some that dun even reply email. lolx.

also. the u41sv is goin to have leessssss heat issue compared to 4830tg... haha. it's abit itty bitty fatter than 4830tg, so it's roomier. haha

edit: if u wan sexinees... both are sexay enuf. lolx....u41sv hav dark brushed alum lid.. feels soooo nice....

Any recommendation for 14" notebook? No brand preference, budget 3k+ and spec would be highest on price/performance ratio. Wanted to run VM sometimes, not much gaming but i do hope can still play Diablo3 when it's out tongue.gif

This would be the best 14" at the moment:
Lenovo Y470, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT550M@RM2999[JBL]

Followed by:
Asus A43Sv, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT540M@RM2999[2.44kg]
HP Pavilion Dv4, i5-2410M + AMD HD6750@RM2899
