IMHO, these are just cases of ppl that actually wants to be conned. I mean, come on! where got so many good deals flying around. Maybe ppl just don't want to know that they are buying fake goods? what u do not know will not hurt you. Why not we just let them live in their fantasy land then?

Imo, easier to state its a "con" its when the seller stated/said (or being asked) its "original/genuine or even made in japan" but actually its some imitation product from "god know where".

Maybe ppl just don't want to know that they are buying fake goods? what u do not know will not hurt you. Why not we just let them live in their fantasy land then? sometimes I buy them just for fun. to test them out and all. Not all fake goods are bad, or rather, I wouldn't call them fake, they actually work anyway, the only problem is realiability. however, most of the time, their price is so low that you can get a few "fake" ones for the price of an original one note: I'm not referring to all "fake" goods. Not trying to generalise anyway. For instance, "fake" rechargeble batteries are definately a no no. If they leak, you risk damaging your electronic device or worst case, fire or explosion. |

HEYA guys!
I've made some research on the Sony Rechargeable Battery =) And.......... Here's wat i found out Now you are looking at is the 2300mAh AA. This pic i took from Sony's website. This model name is NH-AA-B2D. ![]() Next, this is the 800mAh AAA which i took from Sony's website also. This model name is NH-AAA-B2C ![]() ___________________________________________________________________ Now, B2C is purple color packaging. Those bulk orders selling is NH-AA-B2C. Which is outdated and stop production by Sony. (i fail to search for it in the website). Only for AAA they have B2C. AA all B2D, which is a newer version and is sky blue color packaging. This is the real B2C ![]() Here's the interesting part. B2C ONLY COMES IN 2100mAh ! Therefore, those bulkers selling are FAKE! THeirs is 2300mAh B2C..... As a conclusion for the AA battery, the bulkers in LYN selling 1 is fake. Sony didnt do B2C in 2300mAh, only B2D, which is shown above. And B2C only comes in 2100mAh. As for the AAA battery, that 1 i not so sure... coz it looks exactly the same as the picture taken from sony's website above. That's all folks =) |

QUOTE(super macgyver @ Aug 28 2005, 06:01 PM) those are not fake, those are original. But why cheap? Simple, it was taken out from factory without prior notice..... its more like stolen goods actually.... You could be asking, why no full package? no box? CD driver must been burned in CD-R??? doesnt have serial number? In other words, all those latest Sony MP3 are original and not fake.... |

Tomatomanz, the pic link is dead wor......
this world got no 1350mAh AAA batt yet kua. so i guess all 1350mAh AAA are fake. Anyway, Sanyo is a very reliable brand for NiMh rechargeable batt and i dont think there's imitation of Sanyo NiMh batteries. This post has been edited by MelvinGoh: Aug 28 2005, 09:40 PM |

QUOTE(MelvinGoh @ Aug 28 2005, 09:38 PM) Tomatomanz, the pic link is dead wor...... precisely... used sanyo's 1800mah nimh batts b4... performance quite good...this world got no 1350mAh AAA batt yet kua. so i guess all 1350mAh AAA are fake. Anyway, Sanyo is a very reliable brand for NiMh rechargeable batt and i dont think there's imitation of Sanyo NiMh batteries. [some off topic advice : for alarm clocks usin C size n AA size batts, try to get ikea's yellow colour alkaline batts, it lasts extremly long, not sure bout other alkaline batts though] |
