hi guys,
yesterday ive met the proton edar's car agent and booked an inspira. he offered me 2.8% for 9yrs for 2.0 version. after a brief thought i agreed to take the car. paid rm500 for booking. then early this morning he said the bank inform him that the interest has went up to 3.2%. aiya from rm958 per month now it will exceed my rm1k budget per month. should i still proceed or should i cancel the deal and search for other agent/banks ?

Did you get discount from him? If you can get RM1.5K to RM2k discount, then ok lor. If not, you can try other banks and find one which can give u better rates if u r in no hurry.

izzit.. sorry bcoz this is the 1st time i'm buying a car. currently using 2nd hand iswara aeroback. did'nt know much about proton interest rates.

yup he did say about discount but havent clarify yet so maye tomorrow i ask him.

in dilemma coz if i bail, then i have to wait 1 month+ for the next 2.0. but if i proceed i'll be getting it next week (probably friday). booked for the white one

to be honest, bank marketing try to messed u up. last time ive been offered for 3% interest then i agreed. After 2 weeks i got my car, that bank called n reconfirmed my address my document n guess what, they suddenly increase my interest to 3.15%. yes its only additional rm10 per/month but x 9years ??? FU them n i told them i gonna make a report to Biro Perantaraan Bank Negara. Then few days later they called n i get back 3%..

Bro, if they try to playing around, dont agree n tell them u waiting for other bank offers. its confirm currently 2.88% interest. so make sure u get that promotion.

Hmm...test the door lock again.

1) If press unlock and then open the driver's door, the door will not lock again.

2) If press unlock and then open other doors, then the car will lock itself again.

Wonder why like this ar? What's the reasoning behind this logic...

btw, bought a bottle of Meguir quick detailer (RM40 from One U HomeFix It)...pretty useful, tough stain which i can't rub off with sponge and water and can be rub off now.
