Bro Matrix, why you told me that 2.33% applied to 1.8MT, i just bring my dad to proton platinum to booking , but tat SA said that 1.8CVT can choose either 2.33% or 2.88% with discount rm1500, while 1.8MT only with 2.88%, now need to ask again in my nearest Rawang branch first. or do you got source who is doing 1.8MT model for 2.33%? please give me that SA phone number. thank you.  sad.gif

bro matrix if you saw these please reply asap , tomorrow want to booking the car already. thx
*
Hi,

You can try my SA in Taman Megah branch. But she very kedekut one, don't expect lots of freebies. But at least she got my car in 5 days. If you are in no hurry, try to take it slower and nego kaw-kaw.

discussed before..most of us here can get around 10km/l in town use and max was 15.8km/l in long distance...our fuel tank is 59l, so u can calculate from there
*
Yeah..city drive really fuel sucking (compared to Myvi and Savvy manual lar...haha). I haven't done actual calculation, but it should be around there about 10km/l. Highway so far maybe can get 12++km/l. Going to drive back my Savvy to work next week....coz always stuck in jam anyway....waste fuel only.....LOL.

btw, 1st Service is coming up. I kena Warning oready. tongue.gif

Overclock ECU??? For what??? How does car going faster/slower has anything to do with ECU increasing speed??? Sure it isn't some rip off to con money??? I meant, if like that everyone just install an i7 quad core in their VIVA and can pawn Ferrari oready.... tongue.gif

QUOTE(XCInspire @ May 9 2011, 04:04 PM)
Looks like PPS and SG has been miscontrued as an easy way out from washing cars more often and hoping dirt slides off the paint easier instead of accumulating them. It is a car detailing product for discerning owners who wants to keep their paint in showroom condition.

These paint protection will have to be cared for just as often in order to keep the protective layer in good condition. Those without just need to ensure they wash it just as often to keep the paint layer clean. Then again of course the unprotected paint will be exposed and suffer from wear and tear, thus losing its showroom shiny condition...

So it is important that the owners know what they are getting into instead of feeling short chaged later esp the watermark syndrome...

Repeat, this is not a product of convenience of not having to wash car often. In fact could be more often  tongue.gif

Like that no need to do liao...waste money only. Just send to regular wax/polish every year. And just wax it yourself every month or so. Why so susah and then pay money if it doesn't solve the problem?

Guys, i got question i wanna asked. Only realized my car's tire over inflated 2 days ago....it was >300 for the front right tyre!!! doh.gif ( i forgot to check after i took the car).

Now already 1000km (no time for Service yet). I read the instructions on the door to put the pressure at 220 for both front and rear tyres. Is this correct? Now i put 220 for both front and rear. What is the air pressure u guys put in your tyres??

a gender reminder, if you guys still remember, there is one case here regarding the car battery screw not tied properly. Just found out yesterday that my car is one of them, so please check to make sure.

Check the black cable that connected to your battery once you have got your car from proton.
*
Maybe a photo would help? I think there's only one battery connector? (Or maybe i didn't see the other one). Mine is connected tightly i think. Maybe i check again tonigt.

Later when free I go check again.

Huh?? The pressure there written on the driver's door as 220kpa lah. You are referring to the tyre's rating in PSI i think??? 40 PSI a lot man...about 275kpa!!

Here, can do conversion here.
