Yes, should at least have that basic free first 3 service... cannot be zero. Can it be it was in the system where you had to tell them u have promo? I think some of the owners here has this issue. The earlier batches came with physical vouchers, later ones online?
*
Here we go again..... Me being BLUNT.... blush.gif blush.gif

There was a period when Proton was NOT giving out free service vouchers....

AFAIK, after the launch window, they pulled out the free 2 years voucher for a period of time... then it was re-introduced.

Then just before the lower interest promo + discount for 2010 car or 3 years free service promo period, there was another short period when there were no free vouchers. However, most SA does ask from Proton HQ for their clients to be included in the 3 years promo. If you got it, thank your SA, if u didnt, too bad...

Then at the discount for 2010 car or free service period, if you decide to take the discount, there is no free service included. One brother here was not supposed to get the free service (coz he took the discount) but the SA still key in the free service for him.... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

The later batch of owners are given e-vouchers (which means they get no physical vouchers) as their service entitlement is in the Proton computers.

So, NOT every buyer of Proton Inspira gets the free service vouchers, and its not necessarily you can demand for one if you didnt qualify...

2010 hv tweeters. Front and rear windscreen is from mmc.
2011 dont hv tweeters n rear windscreen is proton. these are the 2 things that i can observe...this 2 are minor things.. bt other parts, i'm nt sure is the same or nt....

Previously, they mention that they are slowly changing the parts to local parts. so from the trends, most probably they are changing it....
*
There are NO tweeters in any Inspira...

Earlier batch have a tweeter casing with mesh hole (can see thru) to allow sound to pass thru.... the later batch dont have the mesh holes anymore...

Earlier batch steering is the same smooth leather material as the seat... the later ones are of the same material as the Proton logo on the steering (like cheaper PU leather)...

Earlier batch have MMC (imported) windscreen front and back, later batch uses Proton (local made)... For 2.0P its still MMC front due to the auto wiper and headlights function...

Earlier batch have black rubberized undercoating at the wheel wells... later batch dont...

Earlier batch have rubber hoses that are from MMC... the later batch material look diff, maybe already localized...

Who knows what else have been localized...

Forget the vouchers and safe your money. Inspira comes default with 4mm Ecotint security tint. No need to waste more money. It's very good tint oready.
Bro, its MILS (1/1000th of an inch)... if mm you cant open or close your windows oredi, and your view will be damn blurry... blink.gif blink.gif

The front is 4 mils thick, while the side and rear is 6 mils thick... the existing EcoTint is already a security and heat tint....

I tested Insight. Dunno about FC, but power boleh tahan la, only lost a bit to persona 1.6
Saga FL 1.6 around RM40k, Inspira 2.0 around RM85k.
Cannot compare la...
Or if u got "legendary" mind like me, you may think like this:
1) Buy Inspira 2.0 at RM85k. Mod + petrol sendiri tanggung.
2) Buy Saga FL 1.6 at RM85k, free RM45k (RM85k-RM40k) mod + petrol.
Like this can compare la.

Because last time I also compare like this:
1) Buy Lancer at RM120k. Mod + petrol sendiri tanggung.
2) Buy Inspira at RM120k, free RM40k (RM120k-RM80k) mod + petrol.

But i think the Inspira NVH very good already....my Savvy needs more sound proofing than the Inspira.....small engine, but roars like lion when pressed hard...haha.
That's because you drive like the uncle that you are.... if u press hard your engine to enter the MIVEC zone (past 4500rpm), you will hear your Inspira engine roar...!!! drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif

Our Inspira can only do 200km/h under normal circumstances ma.... Federal Highway topmost speed i can get is 180km/h... the road way to uneven to push to 200.... blink.gif blink.gif

Ever since getting the Inspira, the Evo X seems to be the main car of choice in driving games...

Been driving that in GT5, Forza, Shift 2.... too bad its not in Dirt 3....

But Forza 4 and Kinect head tracking, that will be fun... !!!

Damn.... not been playing Forza since GT5 came out....

Cant wait for Forza 4 and see if it trumps GT5, which is very a damn good driving simulator, but way too "dry" as a game...

I don't think driving with Air wheel is nice lor...nothing beats a forcefeeback steering wheel....i got Logitech Wireless steering wheel...but what i really want is that top of the line Logitech G27 Racing wheel.....but my wife will probably kill me for spending over 1k for a toy steering wheel...
*
Dude, I have a Logitech Drive FX for X360 and Driving Force GT for PS3.... and i find em paddle shifters better and much faster than the gear knob of the G25 or G27 (i have tested all of em)...

Air driving offers no feedback... i was refering to the "head tracking" where your view changes when you move your head....

Err... game driving at 200kmh and real life driving a machine at 200kmh is very different.... esp when you start from zero and paddle up all the way.... the Need For Speed is damn addictive (pun intended)... brows.gif brows.gif

Logitech Drive FX?? I've never see thuis product before....i was actually looking a wheel for the XBOX360, but can't find one and ends up with the Logitech wireless wheel for the PC.....this thing dun even have foot pedals!!! cry.gif
*
Yup... exactly why i didnt buy it... no pedals feels damn cacat...

The Drive FX is for X360, but was discontinued due to the sucky support from "Kecik and Lembut".... this is the steering to get as the others are all wireless and without pedals... tongue.gif tongue.gif

You can try hunting around the games shops... some may still carry one unit somewhere.... i donno if my frens shops still have stock of this...

Heard its due to the oil control valve that controls their vvti. Owner put that in his initial story but omitted eventually. Can u imagine if you were the owner of the other forte they were cannibalising parts from for trial and error? Damn...
*
Its not cannibalizing... its a part donor car... willing party....

Wonders how come Proton doesnt have a part donor car at all SC... blink.gif blink.gif

hmm gotta go check this later.. my car started getting wind sound at 100-120kmph after service.. sad.gif before that 160-180 still senyap..

and after service also there is a loud click sound when i press brake during 'P' ... and can feel the click too ... damn annoying! anyone else experience this?

well the good thing is i found out my service is till 70,000... that's the full page in the inspira service booklet.. so happy don't have to pay anything.. but the sc tried to push the magnet trap (rm69 i think) cost on me like it was a compulsory part of the service.. luckily i read it in forum before, so after asking is it compulsory part, he said no.. so i say maybe next time pasang la.. lol

did mine at mutiara platinum, do any other sc do this?? seems so unethical  hmm.gif
*
Yup... Mutiara Platinum is the place where they try to sell u crap for a brand new car...

For the rest of the sounds, go back to the SC and complain... but i doubt the touched the windows or brake pedals when they are just to change the engine oil??

For the "dont need to pay anything" part, do read up on CVT oil (hint: its not included). And only oil, pulg gasket, filter and labour is free. Also, your paper air filter is supposed to last up to 40,000km... can ka??

Its easily broken?? sweat.gif  IF it is so easy damaged, I think we would have complaints over here already...btw our XCInspire and poadster drive like a mad tasmanian devil all the time with paddle shift, their "soft paddle shift" will be the first to be broken if what you say is true...so dont simply post if you neither have used the paddle shift nor own the car to comment correctly.
