definately altis better, by 2km/l on average.

but the driving experience, inspira much better.
*
Altis cost what...RM30K++ extra?? + Interest, say extra RM40k. If you drive on average 25000km/year. Assume Inspira =10km/l, Altis = 12km/l. You need 2500l of fuel for Inspira, 2083l fuel for Altis. At RM 1.90/l, you'll spend RM 4,750 for Inspira, RM 3,958 for Altis.

So you save RM 792 per year....how many years needs to get back 40k?? RM 40,000/ RM 792=50.5 years.

Yup. Summary:
If you drive 25k km/year, you'll recover your cost from the fuel in Altis in 50.5 years.

If you only drive say 10k km/year like me....it'll take me 126.58 years to recover the fuel cost....i think i'll be pretty much dead by then....
tongue.gif

Even assume petrol price naik 100%, you'll still need half that time to recover the cost...

Is my calculation right?? Hehe.

can change the signal sound..if anything, it is much better than honda's signal sound. tongue.gif

and if you guys notice, when the signal is on, it doesnt have any sound when turning the signal unlike other cars.

if we focus more on the better parts of the car, it would be so much better
*
Yeah, now that u mentioned it...doh.gif...btw, i think my signal lights a bit hard to pull/press...hmm...

One thing i would really wanna complain....the horn...it's so blardy gay...sounds like a Myvi....for a car this size and power...must put in GANAS HORN!!!! tongue.gif

I think i wanna go change my horn...won't void any warranty i hope... sweat.gif

Why is it so goyang goyang when driving more than 160km/hr.. Not as solid as my gen2.. Is it normal?
*
I think the handling of the Inspira is tuned for comfort, not for racing like Lancer. Anyway, check ur tyre pressure first....don't over pumpt it....stick to the recommended 200kpa/200kpa (although front tyres can go a bit higher, rear tyres better stay at 200kpa).

So far i got 160km/h still ok...no goyang-goyang.

abit worrying cos never felt that from other cars ive driven.. Plus smells like, err, hangit..
*
Recommended is 200/200 lar, not 220.

Say, guys, do you people know where can get Inspira/Lancer spare part price list? As least we have a basic guideline to the parts price...don't wanna kena potong next time you change some parts.

QUOTE(Ash @ Jun 6 2011, 05:51 PM)
Hi brothers,

I'm a potential Inspira buyer and there are few questions I would like to ask before making the reservation for an Inspira 2.0P.

Can someone briefly share their experience with the 2.0P on the FC with normal city driving ? Does it consume a lot more compared to Honda City / Vios?

What are the reasons that you guys chose this car instead of a Kia Forte 2.0?

The fact that my SA told me Inspira wait time is only 2 weeks kinda worries me because it seems like there is very little to no interest in car by the market.

I was also kinda turned off to see that this guy doesnt have a USB support for mp3 playing
*
(1) Pls don't compare FC with VIOS/City junk small B-Segment cars. Compared it to Altis or Forte.
(2) Why choose over Forte:
a - More power ( as reported by user who has tested both 2.0 vesion, 1.8 pawns Forte 1.6 anyday).
b - better NVH.
c - better ride and handling
d - more value for money.
e - Proton > NAZA when it comes to SC. Proton SC isn't very hot, but NAZA rank the lowest according to Paultan.org survey last time. Also Proton SC are everywhere...easy for me to go service. NAZA SC is much fewer.

3) - 2 weeks? I chased my SA and get it in 5 days...i hold record for fastest owner to get car here...hehe...
4)- No interest? See the sales figure in Motortrader magazine lah...sells better than Forte the last month i checked.
5)- Yes, no USB kinda sucked...but small problem. the bluetooth audio took care of it...all my music is now in my Android mobile.

PS: I've test drive Forte 1.6, VIOS, City and Inspira before settling for an Inspira.

White owners, how often did you wash your car?
*
Once a week lor....today bought a lot of stuff for car cleaning...now i got:

1) Turtle hard shell wax - for regular monthly or bi-monthly waxing.
2) Turtle express shine - for quick waxing between regular hard shell waxing.
3) Meguir Quick detailer - to remove stubborn grime.
4) Kit Car Wash - wash shampoo
5) Rain-X
6) Tons of sponge and wash/polih clothing.

The only thing lacking is the energy and willpower to do all the hardwork.... sweat.gif doh.gif

I don't really like those Bangla car wash, but i think i'll probably go car wash and then drive the car home for waxing..
save a lot of energy washing car and reserve it for waxing!!!

Haha.... signs of fatigue, laziness and simply boredom in wanting to wash the car... happens to most drivers that have the impulsive need to wash the new car everyday, and to wax the car every month....

Most will even drop the car polish/wax routine after 6 mths....

This is the main reason i SG my car.... coz me waaaaaay too lazy to wash and wax my car that frequently...  blush.gif  blush.gif
*
But is it really good?? What about watermarks? Can get rid easily? I tried called Mr Choong...but his schedule full as hell, and have to wait months to get a weekend schedule...even weekdays have to wait a month or more!!! doh.gif

FC in the hud is now 8.5 l/100 km after parked the car, sometimes during driving is 9.5 and 8.2, normally for 1.8E what is the average?
*
Mine goes up to 22l/100km after some idling....scary leh.... biggrin.gif ....if i reset it while i am doing 90km/h on highway, i get 2.2l/100km....haha.

btw, my FC quiet bad...always around 8.xkm/l - 9km/l for city daily commute...sigh....lucky for me i pump petrol like maybe 10-14 days once....this is the advantage when you live close to your office.....you get worst FC due to jam in city...but in the end, still save fuel due to the short travelling distance.....not to mentioned save on toll money...hehe.

Driving alone doesn't mean you can drive like mad bro...if (touch wood) something happens to u, your family how?? Think like that also mang. I only go 140km/h - 160km/h on highway for short burst of fun when there is open road, then back to constant cruising below 120km/h most of the time.

Added on June 8, 2011, 9:20 amSay guys, this product looks interesting:

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/726685

Suppose to save fuel and gives cleaner fuel. Normally, i don't believe all those snake oil you drop into the tank and suppose to give you better mileage, but this is quiet different and it has a lot of corporate customers as credidential. The seller even says some cars like Subaru comes with it as standard accesorries, which lends another level of credibility.

Anyone try or heard about this b4??
