Do anyone know how to launch BF2SF using xfire?My xfire can only launch BF2 vanilla.. I wan my xfire to track my gaming hour too for my BF2SF

I only play SF for 1 round So that I can get its weapons unlock..

HELP! After succesfully install the patch , now my BF2 wont even run at all. Before updating i am using v1.0 the game no problem at all OFFLINE and ONLINE. I have try even the v1.21 patch but its still the same. Everytime i open it just go into a black screen and then it crash back 2 desktop! Help me please! And no is not *ahem* version!

guys i just bought my BF2 today but i cant play online..
i can view all the server but i cant join em..
the error message poped out is "You have failed to connect.. Please check your network connection(s) and then try again.."
for ur information, i've unblock this program frm windows firewall.. and im using AVG antivirus..
im using a router and switch to share the internet conn between 2 pc..
is there any solutions for this guyyz?..

try to delete all the folders in Profiles directory in My Documents -> Battlefield 2 . & run the game again.

or if cant, uninstall BF2, delete the whole BF2 directory, & also the whole My Document\Battlefield 2 directory, & re install BF2, & try to update it, & run

which server are you tring to connect? try filter the search to Gamearena & join the server. if cant, try to remove your windows firewall & try to connect.

I'm using AVG as well.. and always set my firewall to on. So I guess that shouldn't be the main problem.

Make sure all the proper UDP and TCP ports needed for BF2 are all open. The TCP ports are : 80, 29900, 29901, 29920, 28910, 4711 while the ports for UDP are : 27900, 29900, 29910, 27901, 55123, 55124, 55215, 16567, 1500-4999. Try to have all these open first and see how it goes. Perhaps u will need to adjust ur router settings, but I don't use one so can't help u there.

aha sorry non BF2 technical problem but my PC is having problem! it won't start at all.

It started with my bro testing his damaged PSU last week on my PC. The freaking PSU blow out my primary hardisk to kingdom come! can see the burn mark below on the chip below. Bye2 HD. He uses my PSU on his pc, now my PSU pun kaput.. gah.

ok fine i bought new PSU, can't afford the expensive/branded one atm. and a new HD. Hooked up the new HD, reformat and reinstall Windows XP. Problem started when installing Windows, it will get stuck in "installing windows stages" for a long time.

-Can't be the HD problem cause i already send back HD to the shop with the new replacement & try on my extra working HD.
-I changed the IDE cable still no luck
-Pull out my RAM one by one (got 3 stick) nope! RAM ok.
-double check bios nothing suspicious there.

Anything else should i check? can help me troubleshot?. I do hope my mainboard not affected...I'm using socket A mainboard with Athlon XP CPU and old Sdram pc-133 RAM. Gonna cost me a bomb to replace to the current generation of mainboard and RAM. Is my current CPU compatible with the new mainboard?

Any volunteer to look into my pc.. i blanja him makan besarla?
