Any new upgrades for S2000 owners?

Getting bored and not to mention that turning the volume knob makes the speaker emit lots of crackles.

Turn off the amplifier, then keep turn the knob up to max and min for 30 times or more. After that turn it back on and listen to the music again. smile.gif

Believe me, some miracles might happen.

you can always drop some lighter fluid or alcohol and brutally turn the volume up and down to clean it up

You can send your S2000 to Inter-Asia to change the control knob.

How much does it cost? I'm interested since I live in Kepong and knew your store location.

OK... tried it just now and it seem to cure... unbelievable. Its not totally fix but unlike earlier, it now dont crackle as much. Only whenever it passes the 50% mark, whether its up or down.

Thanks you and bro power911...

Its surprising because I do turn the volume knob quite often as well, just that it was left unused for a certain period when my first son was born. Ever since then, I gotten this problem.

I will put this on hold first. Will try for a week first and see if its really fixed or needed a permanent makeover.

This aside, my amp also develop another problem. Sometimes the green LED light just left one, but it works fine. I slapped the aluminium top cover a few times and it will be ok.

Noob here. Recently I bought my E3100 slightly more than a month ago. At first it was doing really well until today when I tried to use it and to my horror it produces very minimal sound. Even my notebook's speaker is louder than it. I tried fixing the cables up but it is still the same. I haven't used it for about a week ir so and it just happened. Can anybody help me? Please.

Bro bibo1304,
Sorry for the inconvenience cause.
Please send your speaker to the dealer you bought and get them to send to us for warranty service. notworthy.gif

The Edifier e30 Spinnaker Bluetooth Speaker System comprises a pair of almost tusk/Viking-horn shaped speakers and very a cool wireless remote control. Although, tusks or horns are what immediately spring to mind; as the name implies, the speakers are modeled on, and named after, a yacht’s spinnaker sail.

nope... it's a 2.1 forever... unless you buy a separate active center channel to work then it's a yes...

but if you are thinking of connecting S530D with a center channel like Aego M then it's a no

those are just number of speakers.

2.0 is best for music because music are produced in stereo (anything works in 2.0 actually... I watch movies with 2.0 setup and it's good enough)
2.1 is because some people just wanted subwoofer so the subwoofer existed for the thub thub bass
5.1 is for surround sound which is useful for movies because movies are normally in surround sound and music isn't

so yea... you can use 5.1 for music listening but why waste space when you can get better performance on what you need

Hi guys I bought my Edifier M3300SF 2.1 almost 6 months ago,and I don't know if this problem existed for quite some time already or not,but I just realized that my left speaker doesn't produce sound doh.gif My subwoofer produces bass and the right speaker produces sound,I can feel it with my hands, when I put my hands on the subwoofer and speakers, there's the sensation. But the left speaker, there's like nothing. Is this hardware problem or software settings?

I use on-board soundcard,Realtek HD Audio Drivers.Windows 7 32-bit.

Plug to other source, either your phone or mp3 player see it is still the same or not.

If not then try move around the volume control to woofer cable see does the left speaker back alive or not, if it back alive and dead again or totally won't help, send to warranty.
