Have you tried to clean up the connector on the speaker input and your source output? Also try to keep the signal cable away from power plug about 5cm or more.

Yes. Other than wiping it I don't think I should do more than that. It looks clean and new anyway.

if the ground loop is at the source (i.e. laptop) then yes it will effect all speakers connected to it. if the ground loop issue is at your speaker amplifier however (as i have noted before, bad solder job) then only your speaker will hum. a way to test is by touching metal part of your speaker. if the sound is gone, then yes, it is a bad solder job inside.

Hi all.. Im planning to sell my c3 to upgrade/downgrade..

Im thinkin of r2500 or r2600... The diff only that r2500 has a 5inch woofer and 2600 has a 6inch woofer? For the price range. Any other 2.0 should i consider?

From outside, yes the driver difference only 5 inch woofer and 6 inch woofer. But inside, R2600 used bi-amping Class D amplifier, a rotary digital volume control and tone control. R2500 still using the previous model amplifier TDA2050 which is still sound great and combine with + and - digital volume control.

R2500 for about RM38x and R2600 for about RM46x if not mistaken, if you need more bass try get R2600. R2500 gives sufficient bass for normal listening but most would said not enough bass.

Well... I hated the bass from c3. I havent have the time to audition r2600. Will be bass be better? For low fq bass that is. Coz on low fq bass, c3 is not a good choice.

R2600 bass response is better, not sure about the bass loudness when compared to C3.
If you like loud low frequency bass that fills up the whole room, I don't think R2600 suits you but try audit it before you decide.

im more into SQ then bass head.. sometimes i enjoy bass but most of the times i really enjoy 80's, vocal trance, house, and etc.

R2500 and R2600 are good for all genres
The bass I mean is loudness of low frequency bass, like about 80hz or below is not that loud makes you feel like something missing.

Both R2500 and R2600 only the loudness, bass volume and your budget are up to your decision, it won't produce one note bass don't worry.

Remember to have a good speaker position once you have it, I found it very important in Edifier speakers.

i will need to audition the r2600 before i buy..
as my room is small. so i wont need to put the volume that high.. even my c3 also i usually use only 20 90% of the time.
bought c3 as my mx5021 died last year. i hope that r2600 can live up to the low fq bass as mx5021 as c3 cant go low.

Hi guys, my Edifier S330 woofer right speaker port seems like spoil d, the sound come out from the right speaker is very soft, i try changing the left speaker to right is still the same so I dont think is the speaker that had problem. May I know where can I send my woofer to fix? And around how much will it cost to fix this problem? Thank you.

Guys, I am planning to upgrade my aged Altec Lensing ATP3, is C3 a good choice? How does it performs compares to Logitech Z623?

from an ATP3 user to C3 you will find that C3 lacks of bass.

As compared to Z623 it will suit you better but then Z623 isn't very good in clarity

erm can you tell me the difference between the r2000T and the rt1900III. i see both of them is almost the same price. and where can i get to audition them? i am a student from kampar so where is the nearest place i can audition them =)
