haha LOL

actually my sis bought the E3100
then I fall in love in it...

then was planning to save up for S530D for myself... but in that period of saving all the free stuff falls onto me XD
reason why is because I've done so much ridiculous research that I could memorize almost every Edifier speaker characteristics and started recommending them and also to do all crappy stuff around XD

really thankful to Edifier for also giving out competitions that allows me to get stuff free too.
so far I've only won S530D and the MP230
the MP221 I got them from the Edifier TT session as chinese new year gift like stuff.

my future plan is to downgrade myself by getting an R2000T for college purpose tongue.gif
been wishing to get the R2000T after the S530D whistling.gif

R1900T3 volume control is at the back and there's only bass control.

yes it sounded more interesting but I find R2000T fun and there's more to play with
maybe because R2000T got more piercing trebles that I want
well the volume control is on the side anyway biggrin.gif

Hey guys... After read through some discussion and some review, I am deciding to become an Edifier fan. My current Creative Inspire T3100 is dying so I am planning to get a new speaker. Can anyone tell me which one to choose between M3300/SF and HCS2330? Budget is below RM300. Do tell me the clarity and bass comparison if can. Thanks to all the sifus here biggrin.gif

straight to the HCS2330 if you can afford it.

M3300 is awesome too... but it's only if you can't afford the HCS2330
wouldn't recommend M3300 due to slight difficulty in repairing when the warranty period is over. But M3300 is still one of top recommended speakers among us

So means that basically HCS2330 pawned M3300 in terms of both clarity and bass? Because the price for both speaker is not very far different so yea... is a bit hard for me to decide

Slight difficulty in repairing sounds like M3300 will give trouble after certain period?

it's not the M3300 that gives trouble. It's the 3.5mm headphone jack part that cause the problem. It happens to many speakers and headphones.
Oh you know the days where one side of your headphone go dead after days of use, same case with this M3300.
So eventually you'll have to change it. Quality plugs will serve you longer but they will break eventually due to bends and temperature stretching.

Since it's hardwired to the remote, changing it may take skills (soldering, wiring, etc)
To save the hassle, get the HCS2330.

The plug not actually the problem, its the wire that cause the problem for like permanent lost a channel, I had my killed at the serial port part.

If no idea how to rewire yourself, better find replacement by contact Mr.Edifier.

Prevent this problem by not bend or keep swinging the wire over 90º, 3.5mm plug can be prevent oxidize by rub a little WD-40 on it.

gonna have to rephrase my comment and be more specific

"THE WIRE NEAR THE PLUG CAUSES ALL THE PROBLEM"

depends on how you hear them.
I would also say M3300 bass is stronger. But HCS2330 bass is cleaner.

oh the chaos of Edifier C3 and S330D is somewhat similar here XD

The knob of HCS2330 feels cheaper compared to the solid knob of M3400 or C3... the knob of HCS2330 its like my car Audio Head Unit knob.... shocking.gif
Anyway I think the turning the knob of S730 is different than the one in HCS2330? I remember S730 has a more solid knob than that, Btw its not an important factor anyway tongue.gif
Yeah M3400 boom boom~ brows.gif
