Might be a design flow, or their prototype didn't had any issue because it was done by their engineers. Then during mass production its done by operators instead which is volume orientated instead of quality.

Most people thought the more famous a brand is, the better service and product quality will be. But in this modern world dictate by nothing but figures, it does not matter who, all will try to cut corners as much as possible. Did you see Apple clarify the matter in public? Mouth shut closed like a siham.

Seems like it is a common practice, but usually you should get a receipt so at least if anything goes wrong you have proof that you already passed the item over.

I took down the name of the guy who collected my iPad... And called Apple to double confirm...
They told me not to worried...

At least you have a name to refer to in case any case . I guess those returning their iPad for warranty via DHL should at least take the name of the postmen.

Yeah, name is needed but better get a signature.

So the normal operating procedure for returns/repair/replacement is Apple will send DHL to pick up the iPad and you will need to wait for them to fix it? How long does it take?

Anyone with experience on how long this will take?

I think I heard some guys before until 3weeks got no news till.

As for my iPad only got little "bleed" on the left bottom.
Other than none..

Asus transformer also got light bleed also maaaaa...hahahahhahahah

Mine got very minimal light bleeding, I don't mind at all

You mean me? My Replacement unit is now stuck at Subang Airport for Clearance, but I'm still enjoying my iPad 2 for now.
The DHL Guy haven't collect the defected unit from me...

It's on the lower part of the screen, near the dock or home button. But not noticeable since I don't use it at full brightness or watch videos.

My replacement unit

How did you manage to get this kind of arrangement? i.e. still keep your iPad 2 while a replacement is on the way? Know somebody in Apple Malaysia is it?

Anyone know whether the fifth batch of the ipad2 still got screen bleeding or not?
