Are you sure you want to use an open can like the ATH ADs for gaming The people around you will hear you loud and clear

i have no idea about open can,close can, circumaural etc2

Just read threads from head-fi most of them suggest ATH ADs over gaming brand.

not planning for LAN party anyway.

If you can, try out the beyer dt880 also. It's just a little bit more exp than the ad900.

hi sifus, I found fischer audio a bit too hard to find around Australia, and I read that the only online store available has a bad rep for taking too long to obtain the tracking number. Any other suggestions? same requirements as the last request, and still under RM150/AU$45.9

- [B]Type of usage: 65% music 25% movies/ video clips, 10% games
- [B]File format: mostly mp3, wma i guess
- [B]Music genre: alternative rock,modern rock, RnB, hop and almost everything u hear on local english radio from 90s up to now
- [B]Budget: rm1500. willing to go up 2 2k if its really worth it
- [b]Headphone/ earphone type: over ear headphones. ( pls DO NOT recommend Dr. Dre's Beats PRO cos i already have it, the design and material is cool but the sound quality is a MAJOR disappointment.
- [b]Other requirements: this is a bit tricky. need something with noice cancelling/ isolation feature ( good when inside airplane/ trains). COMFORTABLE ( doesnt put much pressure on the ears after hours of usage). no sound leak ( dont want to sound disturbing to the people arnd me). good looking ( a must), durable and built for last( if possible). SQ and clarity must be VERY GOOD, bassy but not too bassy ( dunno if i made any sense on that last phrase there).

anyways, i saw this on the stylish headphone thread. the 2nd,3rd and 4th from left looks super cool ( am looking for something like this but not very "pointy" on the cup there). Any sifus know what model are those?

Budget Rm1500 > ESW9(infact its RM1400), its in your attached picture. 3rd from right. Woody cups with magnificiently comfortable leather pad. You gotta love it with massive voices song. Bass is fine.

If you can wait, the Over-ear Wangs is on the way, hopefully by end-June. It may look the Dre's but the sound is way better. Talk is cheap, will let you have a go at it when it is here.
