QUOTE(phantomkid @ Jul 1 2011, 06:37 PM) Maybe you can consider this. Note that I don't know the seller and I don't know how well it sounds with your preferred genre. I just know that the headphone is pretty good for me. |

Slightly above RM50; the Superlux HD381 series. I guess by earfonia's preferences, it's at audiophile level.

QUOTE(waie @ Aug 12 2011, 02:28 PM) since superlux381 is RM60 only, and a lot of positive feedback, then its value for money right? Really interested in this 381... Hmmm Definitely value for money and only 3 reported deaths at the fans club. (But I never counted 3 out of what. If you're usually careful with your stuffs, then why not. But if you're within the normal where people sometimes accidentally pulled their IEM off their ears or player cuz the cable got stuck to something, or like me who put my laptop on my lap and sometimes 'kicked' the cable and off the jack goes from my laptop and so on, better beware. p/s: A secret to avoid dead IEM: Do not pull on the cord to remove it from the jack or the ear. That applies to other cable with jack etc stuffs too. |

QUOTE(vernon91 @ Aug 25 2011, 12:33 PM) This review mentioned some anime songs. Though I'm guessing that 381F would've a wider genre bandwidth than the other 2. |

QUOTE(g3n0c|d3 @ Oct 26 2011, 06:51 PM) ClieOS' answer, quoted from head-fiQUOTE ...One thing about E11 is it tends to dampen headphone really well, so bass becomes quicker and harder hitting. This is what I believe why some perceive E11 as being darker sounding while it has a flat FR curve. Source |
