TQ all sifu for your recommendations smile.gif

For rock and trance, a Grado SR60i is quite good, and surprisingly good for classical. Although it does leak sound quite a lot and won't be comfortable for too long. I have one. smile.gif

There's also the Fischer Audio FA-004. Never tried one but it seems that the impressions overall are pleasing. Not that 'audiophile' though, but since you're going to use it for mp3, these would do just great. It's a closed design, over the ear and good bass(or so they say). I was also recommended the Fischer Audio Oldskool 70's, said to have the same sound signature as a lower end Grado(which I am familiar with) but with more bass. Then again, same problems as the Grado(little isolation, over the ear design).

There's also a new budget champ around this forum, Superlux. Try finding the fan club in this section, ask the seller(trio) about which one is suitable for music. Some are only meant to be used as monitors so they might not be suitable for general everyday use(you may not like the over emphasized treble and mids).

Some headphones from Audio Technica, but I have absolutely ZERO knowledge of them.

That's pretty much what I know about headphones within your price range and music preference.

Sifus, brothers and taikos. pls help me find the best headphone..

My Rig: iphone 4, psp, sony laptop
- [B]Type of usage: 65% music 25% movies/ video clips, 10% games
- [B]File format: mostly mp3, wma i guess
- [B]Music genre: alternative rock, modern rock, RnB, hop and almost everything u hear on local english radio from 90s up to now
- [B]Budget: rm1500. willing to go up 2 2k if its really worth it
- [b]Headphone/ earphone type: over ear headphones. ( pls DO NOT recommend Dr. Dre's Beats PRO cos i already have it, the design and material is cool but the sound quality is a MAJOR disappointment.
- [b]Other requirements: this is a bit tricky. need something with noice cancelling/ isolation feature ( good when inside airplane/ trains). COMFORTABLE ( doesnt put much pressure on the ears after hours of usage). no sound leak ( dont want to sound disturbing to the people arnd me). good looking ( a must), durable and built for last( if possible). SQ and clarity must be VERY GOOD, bassy but not too bassy ( dunno if i made any sense on that last phrase there).

Bros, any recommendations?

How does the SoundMagic PL11 compare with the Hippo Groove, possible kings of the 60-70 price range.

Both seems similar from reviews i read regarding bass, bassy earphones. Build quality both are decent not sure which is better.

Which would be better for watching movies?

Thanks

Great. But make sure you don't mind the comfort, and also that it is not very portable. tongue.gif

Hi guys, well i am looking for a earphone that have a good bass and boom boom effect.

Currently i have Mylarone Crossroad bijou and Creative Ep630. EP630 work great with my meizu m6 and the Bijou was awesome with my Meizu M8 but currently both of the earphone doesn't sound as good as with the former device. Currently i am using Samsung Galaxy S2 but i am really not satisfied with the bass and other. while my meizu m6 is not working anymore sad.gif.

I am hoping for a solution either a new pair of earphone or do i need to get an AMP for SGS2?

Hi guys, my friends was in UK, he saw Monster Beats Tour selling around rm400 at there and he reported to me. I was a Sennheiser's fans and never test Monster Beats product before. Is it worth to get a Monster Beats Tour? Any user can review this product? How good it is? I only heard before Monster Beats always good in Bass only! Is it true?

Edit : I was planing to buy Sennheiser CX 880. I know I can't compare Sennheiser CX 880 black with Beats Tour because CX 880 just about RM480 but Beats Tour is about RM900. But i would like you all pros suggest me. Thanks!
