For rock and trance, a Grado SR60i is quite good, and surprisingly good for classical. Although it does leak sound quite a lot and won't be comfortable for too long. I have one. File format:mp3

There's also the Fischer Audio FA-004. Never tried one but it seems that the impressions overall are pleasing. Not that 'audiophile' though, but since you're going to use it for mp3, these would do just great. It's a closed design, over the ear and good bass(or so they say). I was also recommended the Fischer Audio Oldskool 70's, said to have the same sound signature as a lower end Grado(which I am familiar with) but with more bass. Then again, same problems as the Grado(little isolation, over the ear design).
There's also a new budget champ around this forum, Superlux. Try finding the fan club in this section, ask the seller(trio) about which one is suitable for music. Some are only meant to be used as monitors so they might not be suitable for general everyday use(you may not like the over emphasized treble and mids).
Some headphones from Audio Technica, but I have absolutely ZERO knowledge of them.
That's pretty much what I know about headphones within your price range and music preference.
