Just like other non-iOS phone users, the choice of earphones with inline mic is limited to the standard units that came with the phone, will have a solution next month with the FiiO LU1. This adaptor will allow at least the mic function of most iOS based head/earsets to be used on non-iOS phones. nod.gif

I saw several posts asking recommendations for gaming headset with mic.
Try asking it here http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/866450 - Hardware Forum.
You'll be more likely to find what you want compare to here. biggrin.gif

You can have the best of both worlds, good sound quality and a mic for gaming if you can double your budget.

The AKG GHS-1.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask a question ... but are there audiophiles that favour earbuds over IEMs? I used to have a pair of Apple IEM's (I know, not exactly of audiophile standards), but they used to irritate me a lot. I love headphones ... but I don't want to bring headphones around.

Audiophile earbuds, got?

you mean the Apple ones? or ...

EDIT: The Apple IEMs I bought were like rm160? It falls off quite often ... I don't know whether is it because of its shape or that my ears are oily. I don't want to spend money again only to realise that I REALLY do not like IEMs...

From the context of his question, it seems that he's inquiring about earbuds. smile.gif

RM100~RM200 is a decent budget, especially recently I've reviewed a newcomer earbud which goes around that price. What about the type of music you listen to?

Oh wait, earbuds are those that just sit on your ear right? Used to have Apple IEMs, currently using Apple Earbuds ... prefer the earbuds.

The pair that I have.

Music ... mainstream ones I guess. Ranges from 30 Seconds to Mars (rockish?) to George Benson's Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You ... heh
