In terms of price of course HP DV6 FTW, but in terms of build quality I would say Dell over HP.

Anyone successfully installed and run Fable III? I cant duh...whenever i clicked, a error message will prompted out "FABLE III EXECUTABLE HAS STOPPED WORKING!"

If we are looking at the price, of course HP DV6 wins easily as it has better GPU than the XPS15 and the price is only @ RM3199. In terms of build quality I personally feels like the Dell XPS15 is more solid but the HP DV6 not bad though.

I've seen your temp for Crysis 2. You said yours was on very high setting ? How do you do that ? I can only set as Gamer, Advance or Hardcore only...

And also, even though I enabled V-Sync in game, there is still image tearing ~

Why my graphic friver always stop responding by itself ..... it happen twice but it recovered after few second ....

Can check the temperatures? Better to revert back to HP driver if the new 1 not suitable for your system.

My driver was updated according to window update previously ... let me try for few days 1st , maybe coz by some bug or process running ...

Hey mind tell me about the temperature of this laptop??Because i like play games like crysis , crysis 2 , witcher 2 or gta 4 and etc , even COD modern warfare those.How is the temperature when playing this game??Is it low enough for me to overclock for better performance??And how long i can play the game without stoppping before the temperature reach enough to destroy mobo or other component??

Besides that any issue encounter by anybody on this laptop before??Like the key problem , or the touchpad problem or hard drive has sound or any feature cannot be enable or stop functioning suddenly??Thanks much appreciated

Same here too. I removed UAC, and ran as admin mode, and it still keeps resetting.

And now it keeps switching to the gfx card whenever i start the laptop

The Promotion on hp website that RM3799 of DV6 ,tht is include shipping fee?

I having that problem too even when i'm in admin mode. It will reset back to normal once i shutdown.

I think you need to plugin your battery if not it will change to discrete on every reboot. Need confirmation from other user since my battery is 24/7 inside the laptop and i don't have that problem.

Its free if you're in Peninsular M'sia. For East Malaysia tho... you need to pay.
