bro, i already tested. it is really the Vsync problem. now i set back my FPS to Variable already.
whenever i turn on the Vsync then the lag come back and FPS drop.
Btw, how come my friend's 5750g using GT540M have no problem with the Vsync? Thats weird?
Added on May 4, 2011, 4:59 pmbro did u upgrade the service package as well? That 1 size is around 89mb-889mb that 1.
btw, i didnt update the internet explorer.
My 5750G with GT540M does not have problems with Vsync. I run a few games with Vsync being turned ON, Call of Duty Black Ops, Assassin's Creed 2, Street Fighter 4, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. They all run very smoothly. The only thing that decrease the games performances are SHADOWS, so I always turn off the shadows for certain games...Vsync doesnt really affect anything for me...
Maybe you should try and update your current driver.
For GT540M and other G series graphic cards for laptop, download the drivers here
http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-win7...hql-driver.htmlI download it and it increases the performance in Borderlands game from 30 FPS to a constant 60FPS in the first mission. The most obvious increase in performance by far....cause the previous driver is kinda shitty..
so, update your driver...

^ Maybe he force Vsync off from Nvidia setting.
I'm using Acer aspire 5750G also. I never change anything in the Nvidia setting.
