yup 6970 is more than enough. but wondering 6970 100W in M15x + Core i7 45W. work good on 150W adaptor provided by dell?
even last time my Core i7 920XM(55w) + GTX260M(65w) and other stuff of the laptop already lead me to throttle issue d

planning to get 240w PSU soon, my 150w charging rate sometimes not stable.. =.=

but very hard to get the 240w here, and dell price is crazy...

seems need to get it from ebay...

Congrats bro. Yeah with the new card really revive our M15x! Worth the upgrade for sure coming from a 1GB DDR 5 to a 2GB DDR5. Anyways the temps differ for me as my my Thermal DIode temps have reached max of 89c and my MeMIo has reached max of 95c at the same time when im stressing the GPU with max DX-11 settings on CRYSIS 2 and METRO2033. Other than that check for ur throttling issues if any and whether you card starts up on stealth mode settings. You need GPuz for that. Your game will perform slower when ur clocks are down to 400/900 .

Good upgrade will be the 6970. Worth the price if you don't mind forking out RM1.2K at least.

Yup, Mushkin start selling single 8GB SoDimm 1600 now,
Add RM1k, u got 16 GB today

Even older machine still un-officially support 16gb, as long as u use x64 architecture.

But seems the benefit is goes more to digital & 3D artist than to gamer..

Still, is a good thing... Gonna wait till the price lowered a bit, and gonna get pair for myself, hehe
