would u even wanna carry a dual socket 330W psu around? plus, you would get alot of auto shutdown in due to the amount of power needed just to power your dual 485s and desktop i7.

and one more..... games tend to lag all of a sudden becos of power trips too. you will notice it. that is why alienware doesnt go for wot clevo is doing. i had that promblem with my 7280 that is why i returned it.

+1. Some how i prefer mobile sandy bridge more than desktop i7. M18x no longer portable compare to laptop but it is still portable ckmpare to desktop. But with the money i rather go for a desktop+laptop

i dun use my laptop outside + people who would buy something like m18x and np7280 which are between 5 to 6.2 kg know that these are Desktop replacement and they dun need to really carry them outside ! so thats y i had m11x, but i replace it with macbook air biggrin.gif ! lol haha, just i get Desktop Replacement because i need the power and the rest ! ive got my own macbook air and ipad for carry outside .... my friend using two PSU of 330W and i7 970, as far as i know there is no problem for shutting down becuz of bridge, u can make sure by asking people who own it in Owner lounge of np7280 at notebookreview .... i wil get 6970m CF not GTX485m SLI...its much of money becuz of only 7% increase in benchmarks which are quiet useless for me ! and there are no issues since sager produced second PSU with bridge for 6970m CF and GTX485m SLI if u know.... and the point would be for me having m18x is good but i dun care about the beauty anymore actually cuz i used to alienware design and fleshy lights but i never satisfyed with the perfermence that i wished, i think that would reached by having sager and a Desktop CPU which can USE ALL THE POWER OF A CROSSFIRE AND SLI SCALE....i think i would prefer m18x with only 2920XM not less...but i am not sure about the build quality of m18x since its their first time producing m18x...so i would wait first, but for sure i go for np7280...mabey later i can buy a m18x.
BTW
what spec u were using???
using two PSU?
for my own experience i played metro 2033 with i7 970 and GTX485mSLI plus 12gb ram....i set the res at 1080 and DX11 and very high without AA and i had around 30 to 38 frame, and i really played about an hour becuz i was enjoying the brilliant graphics, i didnt experience any lag or heat issue and turning off.....
can u explaine me more?
even at notebookreview owner lunge no one had problem of lag of sudden power trips. except before producing second PSU by sager.

me?? for the np7280? well my friend got it from xotic pc around 3800USD...i want to spend around 3500USD to a 100 more or less, but i am waiting to see, how the m18x would act in market and how will people say about it, becuz its first time producing, once to buy is a bit risky, specially if its a Desktop Replacemnt due to many issue such as cooling and driver supports and BIOS and so on.... . so far i am interested in np7280 since i worked with it, which is for my friend, and it really satisfied me, i would prefer performance to a fleshy and eye cath desing generally and build quality.
