thanks driftmeister. dun forget the picture. but i have seen one with customised bracket at the cd compartment. not too bad but i dun think i wanna replace the HU atm.

nope, not entering competition but just wanna get a decent sound. if the stock HU is giving problem i might replace it..but till then will stick with it. it really goes with the center console.

this is cause ur HU off b4 ur amp
so the current rush to ur amp
thus the pop sound happen

add a relay/delay
let ur amp off 1st

there is no way to define a good sub, mid and tweeter, is all depend to own preference..

sub guide like might help.
sub-- can go as low as possible (like ID Max), as fast and accurate as possible (like peerless and onyx)

mid-- can go below 60Hz is a good mid, dont really need high power to channel it. (like seas, scanspeak, phass and etc)

tweeter-- can go below 2khz consider a good tweeter..

if you said pioneer or apline, i will select alpine

the other brand you can consider, eclipse, calrion, poineer P9, denon, mac.

budget around 1k i cant give you any comment, cause most of the time i only look for HU more than 1.5k

pls dun use hi-lo converter if u going for SQ, the amplifier in the HU had a very high distortion, therefore, if u convert ut signal from hi to low, the distortion will be also converted..but if u using the rca preout, then it will not have so much distortion cos ur hu amp will never generate those distortion to the rca preout.

this is wat i know..correct me if u like..

mhn21: i got a 4ch amp for sell..see automotive garage..thanks
