need help here, ATM i have 1 Brother 12" woofer, 1 Brother 1000w 4ch amp, 1 unknown brand preamp, 1set kenwod 3way speaker, 2 set tweeter. All this given to me by my uncle, he dont use it since he sell his car ready. so after i install all the thing in my car, found out 1 chanel of the amp spoilt and the sound quality nott good. so i want to change to a new amp, any recomendation? my budget around 300 to 400 amp... or maybe just tell me what kind of amp i should buy.

Dudes, need some help here.

Budget: RM400-600
Type of song: Chinese pop, RnB, English Pop
Preference: Sound Clarity

Right now I'm driving a Satria GTi, both left speakers (front and rear) are spoilt. Damn annoying scraping sound when the bass kicks in from certain songs. I just changed a Kenwood HU, and now planning to change all the speakers.

What is your recommendation? Do I need to get an amp? Or just get 4 speakers + 2 tweaters will do?

but feel no bad loh...
i can hear the "real" sound...then enug for me..

sometimes it not like u spend 3k then u shud get back a 3k sound
some kakis spent more than 10k still upgrading
becos they cant get the sound they wan..

as in ur case..i would say u can get even better sound with 3k
but since u have spend it
juz live with it lo

i am using a budget RM1000 to upgrade my ice....

To make it simple, the speakers for front and rear are need to be replaced isn't it?

If you want a nice clear sound, I would say you will need:
- 1 set component speakers, placed at the front
- 1x 10" subwoofer with ported enclosure, placed in the trunk
- 4ch amp

This will be the most basic setup, SQ setup can be achieved depends on the quality of the parts and your speaker placement.

But with RM400-RM600, I think the most you can get is a set of nice component set, and probably cheapo amps. You can power your components direct from the HU but the sound quality wont be that good at higher volume, and you'll miss lower freq bass sound. But you can slowly adding other stuffs later on.

how much u bought the 6.5inch Clif Design Component Set? I'm looking for this brand....hard to find in Sabah.
