Hello all, i'm very new to ICE.

i just want to start off with getting a good-enough cd/dvd-audio (is there any need to get dvd-audio?) player that looks good and cheap before i move on to the speakers and amps.

Any suggestions?

If you really want that budget with a decent HU, you can check up lelong.com.my or go to Jalan Pasar in Pudu.
But the price will be slightly above RM200..

pioneer DEH1950G i jalan pasar now selling about RM270.
sony xplod RM280.

I personally suggest you that don't go for china brands player.
Not worth a single cent.
Maybe cheap BUT confirm regret!

does the pioneer comes wif 2 pairs or more of this pre-out? if it is, then it's a good choice..

The speaker enough to carry chapalang amp 1000 watt?

that chapalang amp's 1000W isn't reli 1000W larhh.. that rating is @ peak..

look for the rating rated wif RMS.. it's the accurate 1.. i blif it's onli producing 50rms o less per channel.. i don think so it will harm anything..
