thanks for the feedbacks, now i know which phone i should go for.
looks like the sgs2 is similar to sgs, need to be rooted with custom rom then only can shine.
i' used to own a sgs rooted with darky rom, couldn't tahan the lag issue sold it after 2 months.
for most of the users, hardware is not everything.
it is the overall performance matters most.

What is the main reason for purchasing this phone for potential buyer and current owner?

For me would be battery life and that is all I wanted. UI etc is least important for a smartphone. Rarely a smartphone can last a day with quite heavy usage (except iphone, BB) and with large screen.

What say you?

at least u can read wifi, mine got problem, and its the router.... damn..

nvm, internet still quite good d after rebooted it.

she plan to get one but she say what the major improvement with sgs and sgs2 ? except by a larger screen ??

ntg major improvement for me. just larger screen, weirder looks (for some) and better battery life.
