You need to flash full zip not update zip as you are downgrading not upgrading

Why not safe ?? where you got this idea it is not safe. The car charger power input is less than your direct AC input. Car charging will be slower

If you are in KL , just go to Lowyat - you will be flooded with choices

If you want long lasting, buy those in the RM 100+ range. Those cheap types will fade off, frayed and peel off ( especially the edges ) after several months of use

What do you want to do ? I thought you want to flash back tyo 1.6 ?? Now you said RC1 ?? If RCI, it is OK to flash from CWM but not update zip - flash full zip

To downgrade back to 1.6 - The method I list out is guaranteed safest way. Flash JMK stockrom ( refer to the `1.6.4 thread at XDA) and use JMF modem

As Overcome 2.0 Gold/RCi is based on a different kernel and is Gingerbread based vs 1.6 which is Froyo based and different kernel
So I am assuming it will be a problem if you just flash directly from CWM. maybe pitbull can clarify this ??

I did not buy Transformer - only the Iconia : just to test only Honeycomb not as my main tablet

I bought the Flyer out of curiosity and just want to do a comparison with the Tab. Many have PM asking which is better

My standard answer : If you like a nice and beautiful UI - HTC Sense and you need to do a lot of writing on the tablet, jotting notes - get the Flyer but pay a premium of nearly RM 800 to RM1000 for it over the Tab

There is one exceptional feature I like about the Flyer - is its keyboard. I can post replies and write new posts on this forum lowyat with ZERO problems. The cursor is darn accurate, no skipping , no jumping and what I type I can see , without it sometimes disappearing from view. I give a score of 9 for this, while the Tab will score a miserable 2. My other tablet the Iconia will score a perfect 10.

Things I don't quite like the Flyer but can still tolerate :
- cannot root yet, so no roms, no kernels to experiment yet
- System fonts a bit small and only one type, no choices
- landscape mode one direction only to the left as the capacitative buttons will auto rotate over to the landscape side when tilted . Also limitation due to on the right side has a camera in the middle
- its LCD density ( lower than Tab ) restricts some apps which does not display so well/or balanced on homescreen. Best is still use default UI. I try ADW, Launcher Pro and Spb Shell - most turnout not nice as the icons and widget sizes doesn't look balanced on screen. If can root, the LCD density I can change it but not now

In general both Flyer and Tab performance quite similar - doesn't see any significant differences

Why even consider AP when price difference just rm200? It is not worth the hassle if you have problem
And buying AP avoid middle east ( market restrict issues a) and USA sets ( cannot call)
I have received 2 PM on middle east sets how to solve market issues which need flash new rom and one pm how to make USA sets can make call - this is a big headache to correct but can be done

Only hard reset will remove first google account

No it will not remove root but all 3rd party apps, your data and settings will be wipe out
You will get back tab in factory condition

Did you setup your APN settings?
Do it at settings/wireless network/mobile networks
Refer page 1 for digi apn there are 2 types

Test with another simcard to dismiss hardware issues ? Sometimes could be simcard. I understand digi easy prepaid has such issues too and some user change to other prepaid plan

There was one user here like you just couldn't get DIGI to work on his Tab but he has no problems with other telco. I have no issues using all the telcos - presently my Tab is on Digi internet prepaid. You should ask for a change in simcard to test - if still cannot, test with another telco. If still have issues , probably hardware . You need to do process of elimination yourself

Buy the tab if you wish for great portability . Suggest get the 3g/wifi as is a much better performer vs WiFi only model
The eeepad is a different class due to its size
I am very sure you will love the Tab

Buy a 10" tablet plus keyboard I rather carry my 11" MBA.

do read eeepad thread the keyboard has build quality issues and is confirm by several web reviews
Btw you can buy Samsung keyboard that dock with tab. Check Samsung website. I saw it selling at kl Samsung and sine DIGI center too
