Yes, it will be at best a Tier 2 mall but many ppl will still go there if they have the right mix of tenants, it is easy to find parking, parking fees not too expensive etc even though the jam is bad IMO as USJ ppl also get fed up with Summit with the nt so good mix of tenants.

Yeah, it is also promoted by HCK for The Duo but so far I dont see any works yet & there is no indication on the expected completion date, so now it remains a proposal only.

I passed by next week , i dont see any banner indicating any tenant is moving in and outside are still look pretty messy. I will be surprised if they can get everything done and operate so soon in nov. Anyway , retail space is very gloomy now with dented customer confidence and over oversupply of shopping mall.

Although consumer confidence is down, tomorrow 1 future SUCCESSFUL mall in kedah, aman central will open..

It would be better to open the mall together with LRT completion next year. I passed by the road in front of Summit, and I would never go there to face the terrible traffic jam, unless I do not drive.

Reno works also would take at least 2 mnths la, how to open by Nov? hmm.gif Maybe Jan/Feb la b4 CNY?

they reli bz with damansara pavi n bot dsara city mall n if u follow the newsflow thr, tht is his focus area.. summit already reno to serve the existing low end market.. btw how is biznes in summit.. can a person walk from damen to summit in a bridge or sumthing? damen cn get some fnb footfall from the post GsC summit pipu

That's why I said, the mall opening should be timed coincide with the completion of LRT, in mid 2016.

Did Pavilion buy over Damansara City Mall? I don't think so, as both parties just denied few months ago. Looking at the map of the land plots bought by Desmond Lim, Pavilion could link its land plots with Pusat Bandar Damansara MRT station without going through Damansara City.

best word would be pavi reit will be acquiring damansara city mall.. this news is highly internal n u may only read it in the papers a few weeks/months from now.. this has got little to do with the mrt as he has already bought the land with access to the mrt..
