any George A Romero/Lucio Fulci's fans here? can check out DAWN OF THE DEAD, DAY OF THE DEAD and CITY OF LIVING DEAD...Arrow releases smile.gif
*
UK ARROW release got good packaging, multi choices of cover & region free.

you might also want to consider the US BLUE UNDERGROUND release.

this 2 studios using dif sorce & the pic/sound & extra are dif.

go to DVD beaver for comparison, normally BLUEUNDERGROUND got getter pic but ARROW got better extra. Price wise, ARROW is cheaper if included freight.

Best Lucio Fulci - Zombie 2 not yet released, The New York Ripper has the best pic quality for slasher movi.

Dario Argento - DEEP RED, SUSPIRIA, TENEBRE, INFERNO, BIRD WITH CRYSTAL PLUMAGE all are good 1970s/80s movi & all either released or comin soon.

Brother NAZ is expert in this.

HD DVD is a DEAD product few years ago... no need to know about it anymore. No longer and forever in production.

Mind you, there are many movie lovers around the globe whose still on DVD and probably still on VHS (certain parts of Americas). Blu-ray has not reached the world yet, precisely some part of the world. For example, in the year 2005 end, i was in London and that was the 1st ever i saw HMV & a rental shop in Putney was having Blu-ray rental. In 2006 , Blu-ray was widely sold in the UK. There's a petrol station close to the place i lived , called Sainsbury.

They had Blu-ray for the price of 47 quid, in 2006. Just imagine, the severe price drop from the year 2006 to now. The point is not the price statistic, the point here is the exposure to the new media. They had in 2005 , we probably, what, 2008,2009?

So , you're not so back dated. Still there's ample of time to catch up. HD-DVD's is a biggest flop of all time, comparing with DVD & VCD's.

i started collect VCR when i was age13. i went to restaurant washed dishes every week to earned RM25 for 2 VCR. I got over 500 VCR & i throwed all away last year when i really got no space to keep it, besides, my VCR player gone.

I switched to VCD, then DVD. I got over 1,000 DVD, and again sell/throwed/gave away nearly 500 discs. Now i left 500 good DVD titles, i still enjoyed DVD, especially thoses title not yet available in BLURAY format.

Now i am in Bluray. I just hope it will stay longer b4 i need to "waste" money again.

GOD BLESS BLURAY

Determined and emphatic courage you have bro..i wasn't a big fan of VHS, dad used to get them all the time. I started picking up DVD's when i started college in 1996. Also wasn't a big fan of DVD , only selected titles, some limited Editions and so on.

Worked in college's computer lab , in order to buy my favorite DVD's. Started Blu-ray back in 2006. Stopped a while, then started excessively in year 2007 end till now.

3D Blu-ray is up now. What's next hmm.gif

Bro, "bidding". eBay yes..not easy to get though. Sometimes you have to message them personally and they might ship to MYS. Shipping sometimes reasonable too.

Wow! I never collect VCR (got buy maybe 10 original VCR, never buy pirated copy before), but I do buy VCD (more than 1000pcs and 99% pirated! Ops! Got less than 10 original) then DVD (around 20 to 30 original, uncountable pirated copy) and now Blu-ray (Blu-ray is the format that actually satisfied me and the only film format that I will fully support original - all original now and forever, I do got few copy pirated, in-purpose buy as I want to compare).

Previously I am a big supporter for original Audio CD. (I think I got around 500 pieces, no single piece is pirated copy).. now still buying original Audio CD...just not much, maybe a month one or two copies. (Casette is my family time, also maybe around 200 to 300, now all in.. I think heaven... tongue.gif )

So in overall, I am original supporter for Audio CD & Blu-ray + some VCR... HAHA!. biggrin.gif (sorry for those VCD & DVD). whistling.gif

I don't own LD and HD DVD before.

Let you know another few weeks, I will order myself few Japan titles from Amazon JP end of this month. Between the Japan shipping is expensive as they not provide standard shipping.
