QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Apr 25 2011, 01:29 PM) I re-check and notice I actually use International Priority Airmail for my B&N... means it is over period, I still not yet received it... Haizz.... I think i've mentioned this in the one of the previous versions. You really have to be patient with B&N shipping although its International Priority Airmail, it all depends on clearance end and MYS customs. Probably Amazon would got lucky with it , but B&N may not be, but your item should be save , at least.. |

QUOTE(johnbluraylover @ Apr 25 2011, 05:03 PM) hi guys, use this website as a reference when you scout for your HK bd.my friend is goin to HONG KONG & i got RM500 budget for him to buy me HONG KONG bluray disc. need some advice: 1 - the best HONG KONG release bluray disc 2 - website/webpage on HONG KONG BLURAY $ & review 3 - any cool movie only can be found in HONG KONG. please advice/suggest. thanks brothers. http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-14-71-13a-49-en.html Then ask your friend to buy the movie at the BD shop around Mongkok. Price will be cheaper around rm10-20 than playasia.com Added on April 25, 2011, 6:01 pm QUOTE Theres a small shopping complex on nelson street (Mongkok) near the mongkok computer centre that has about 4-5 shops that only sell blu-rays. http://forum.blu-ray.com/asia/76580-shops-...s-blu-rays.htmlYou need to go down a flight of stairs from street level to get to them, it's quite hard to see. I only found it by accident becasue i saw some blu-ray posters in the entrance and decided to venture downstairs. Has a lot of US blu-ray as well and some of the best prices i found in Hong kong The shop name "Laser Collection" The prices there are quite reasonable, atleast its cheaper than HMV HK. They display the movies with self printed empty bd case. You need to ask for the movie at the counter or present the (empty) bd case. I say its an efficient way to prevent theft. only that shop have this style of shopping |

My Toy Story 2 Blu-ray Review
Packaging : 1 BD 1 DVD comes with embossed Slipcover Video Quality : This sequel, a film that was released 4 years after Toy Story 1, holds a lot more amount of detail to it , hence it's the vast improved on the CGI. The guys at Pixar's excellent craft finally produced yet another of my favorite "demo disc. Transfer is really top notch and the black level is pretty sold , color looks definitely vibrant. This is solid 5/5 rating from me. Sound Quality : I would say , i've enjoyed every litte sound effects and it sound realistic. Bass was good. It got as louder as it could and i felt like my ears could go blistering if i were to crank up loud. Another 5/5 rating from me. Bonus Material : Haven't had the chance to completely watch the Extras. I only watched the Toy Story 3 Sneak Peek in High Def and it was awesome. Waiting for my Toy Story 3 from eBay to arrive Overall, this is a fan pleasing stuff and the DVD combo in this pack was rather useless. I would definitely recommend this for the beginners , who has the love affair with High Definition animated films. This post has been edited by sKyWiR3pT3lTd: Apr 26 2011, 12:14 AM |
