btw, another curious, that I read from Amazon, saying buyer outside from US cannot purchase any items such as electronics, video games etc. Is it true? Means that we only can buy movies disc from Amazon? Others are resctricted?
Yes, you can't. Whatever you place to basket, during check-out, AMAZON WILL LET YOU KNOW WHETHER IT CAN SHIP TO YOUR COUNTRY OR NOT.
You can't place order if the item you add cannot ship to your destination address.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from Amazon.com, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
well then, usually you guys have ordered and how much you pay the tax upon receiving?
Be prepare Amazon CN is quite slow in shipment, I order one BD before using standard shipping, it took 1 month + to arrived.
Oo. Let's see how long they take to deliver mine .. I scared the quality n package will be diff. The price is ¥40 in amz.cn while yesasia is Usd18. O.o
Normally you won't facing any custom tax issue. Try maintain every shipment not over RM 500 (include shipping cost).
I got lucky that day. Last week I received a shipment of 6 titles from Amazon US. The total worth of that shipment was more than RM800 and I didn't get taxed.

Maybe because it was delivered by courier DHL?
Actually it base on luck RM500 is just a more safety way. Anyway if that day you are "SUPERB LUCKY", less than RM 100 might being tax also. In general, it won't happen.
Wow! so many you order, what you order? might snap some photos and share share here?

With DHL, no issues. They will "kautim" everything for you..if i remember correctly , the last 4-5 batch orders i did on Bollywood titles using DHL Express, cost more than RM900 per package. Never, the items got tampered or sealed with KDN stickies.
Normally you won't facing any custom tax issue. Try maintain every shipment not over RM 500 (include shipping cost). If you from Penang, try avoid using Priority Courier - heard few forumer here said Penang Finas love DHL.
I'm from Penang, I just purchased RM3xx (include shipping cost) worth of audio cables and other device, Amazon automatically put me to DHL shipping method, I cannot choose a cheaper shipment - ouch! Luckily, no tax for me here...
By the way, my box have no sign of custom opening it up.... just saw [Direct Release, Pelepasan TERUS] sticker on it!

Suddenly change my mind, going to cancel my preordered Canada edition of LOTR EE + Sucker Punch steelbook. Not going to take it at the moment. No mood watching both at the moment.
Watched Ninja Assassin last evening. Brief review of the Blu-ray.
Ninja Assassin encoded with nice sharp veneer of grain throughout, brilliant colors. At times some issues with darker scenes and details, as sharp as it is , does vary from time to time.
Ninja Assassin's Video is very pleasant to view. The transfer is exceptionally strong. Contrast is good (although i had tune it for the Blu-ray playback). The blood flows were overdone although the CG looks lively. Ninja Assassin video looks presentable.
The Audio was excellent, DTS HD MA 5.1 mix was good. The supplements are in excellent good. The extra's as going to CBI officer.Overall this is an excellent & presentable Blu-ray disc
Surprisingly, UK's version of Akira - Collector's Edition Steelbook [Blu-ray + DVD] [1988] already dispatched using standard shipping despite the release date is 27 June 2011. Let see how long it take before it is run out of stock.
