That was tough..found that its Region Free..but hang on first..let me reconfirm..

Finish watching another criterion collection - Au revoir les enfants (Good-Bye, Children). A film by Louis Malle base on his childhood actual sad memories & events. (with some fictionalized).

The film has winning the Golden Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival, also earned Oscar nominations for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen (Louis Malle). The film also won seven Cesar Awards, including Best Film and Best Director.

The extra includes an interview with Film Critic - Pierre Billard talk about the director - Louis Malle and shows some footage of the director others film. They is also a short interviewing with Candice Bergen, Louis Malle widow. The Director is dead on year 1995, age 63.

Also, not forgotten a complete version of Charlie Chaplin's 1917 short comedy - The Immigrant featured in this film was included in the extras as well.

Movie marathon.. , scintillating review..i've yet to open my Criterions..got plenty lying down in the box still..just can't find time to open and watch them..

I would like to know since u all jumped into the bluray wagon, does any of you still buy DVDs for titles not available on bluray

Never "touch" DVD for 1 to 2 years.

There is minimal price difference between DVD and Bluray if we get it from amazon etc.. so really there is no reason to buy DVD anymore. Unless of course one is really indulge in movies and really cannot wait for the release in bluray.

I do for those not release on BD.

Some concerts for example Slipknot no bluray even last year release & Metallica In Mexico got BD but not full.

MOvies The Boys are Back-Clive Owen & Everybody's Fine-Robert De Niro , both are release on DVD last year and re-release on DVD again this year. Weird still no BD

Haha, now planning on watching my last available copy of criterion collection film - Le Cercle Rouge.

It's region Free, I have it.

My last DVD purchase is BBC - The Blue Planet. That probably end my purchase of DVD.

Me .. I wont bother wif SD for de time being even if d ttl is available in DVD but not BD.. too many unwatched ttls stil..n I do hv a few..

But I guess eventually de relevant studios will upgrd it to HD.. jus a matter of time.
For example .. lately Ca/UK has Adam Sandlers older mvs out in HD.. which me likee.

ive never watched any dvd since jumping onto the bd bandwagon, let alone buying one... but i do get few dvds since then; bundled with some bd titles which i find redundant & unnecessary...
