Hi,

My company is a software provider....so we will not do the tax for you....but we provide the software support for Tax Professionals through the country. Please send me a private mail, so I can find out more about where you are, and what Tax support you need so that I can try to find suitable agent for you to speak to. You can then negotiate the fees directly with them.

Hey guys, i've paid my income tax using M2U with code 095 but as i was checking my BE pdf on the last page it states at the bottom "kod bayaran 084 and nombor ansuran 99". So should i have paid using 084 instead?? Very confusing.

Payment code for the balance of tax if payment is made at the bank is 095. If payment is made through IRB counter or by mail then u have to use 084 i.e. use the CP501 slips when making payment.

OMG! I have made the payment through maybank2u using code 084. rclxub.gif

Do I need to repay again using 095?
How to claim back the payment using 084?

Anybody experience this before?

well, it depends on what trust u bought. Refer to your agent whether your unit trust is tax exempted or not.

Do not worry & stay calm. Is ok if u submitted it oredi. IRB won't fine you because of this. They know yr payment is what for. Many ppl put 084 for so many years but still nothing happen to them. You are not alone. So, juz relax rclxms.gif

I see. The draft/confirm tax form should put some description on payment mode.
I think most people will just follow 084 payment mode as stated in draft tax form.

Thanks!

the 1 time in 6 years is crap, how many tax returns were filed each year and how many IRB officers are there in the country?  I have attended a seminar talked by a former IRB officer, he made a calculation that you will only be selected for auditing once in 20 years, however everytime they investigate you, it may be for few years, eg Y/A 2002-2006.

to all of you out there, evade tax at your own risk  laugh.gif

Yes, they will audit for several years, about 3-5 years back. sweat.gif If everything in order and not suspicious, it will be done in <20 min. rolleyes.gif Else be prepared for hours/days sweat.gif sweat.gif

Could be further than that too. Remember, we are required to keep records for 7 years.

Hi,

I have heard rumors that if you want to use the efiling, then it is best to go into the LHDN

Alternatively, you still have time to download TAXSAYA, which you help you to prepare he Borang BE for FREE...could be a backup plan smile.gif
