hey guys, i just got my 4mps yesterday, the modem is innacomm w3400v , izzit ok ? coz my hp cant detect the wifi

and for my desktop i am using a wireless modem, quite powerful one(TP-Link) , but the speed i get at most is also 150kbs + , any help out there ?

should i change my modem or the default modem is good enough , maybe is the problem with the international line goin on ?

I tried the speedtest , its just 1.4 Mbps download....

when u run the speedtest , u must get at least 3.5mb

Are you sure you're capped at 4Mbps speed?
Try checking the modem for that info, and call 100 if same problem persist.

Have the technician come to your house to configure your line?
If they have come to your house, then you should wait for about 48 hours (about 2 days) for them to upgrade your account.
I think they have set your port (physical site) to 4096Kbps or if you're lucky, you can get 5012Kbps...
The problem now, your account is still stuck at the old profile which is 1.5Mbps... Just wait for 2 days, and after 2 days you still experiencing the same 1.5Mbps speed, call their technician first because you still got 14 days warranty from the technician... Asked them carefully whether they have ask TM to configure your account to 4Mbps... Anyway, Good Luck in your "battle"

to compare modem. plug in phone line to the modem 1 by 1.
check the dsl section, download snr margin. higher better.

but the tm modem always got higher margin. maybe is fake. haha...

anybody here from penang ? i find penang's streamyx is unstable througout the day. sometimes in speedtest is more than 3mbps and sometimes i'll get less than 1mbps or between.

anybody on 4mb package got thier youtube stream speed being capped around 70-80% of the time. By using netlimiter, it really seems like being capped around 50KBps. The video always buffer every 15-25 seconds.
I have two 4mbps line, so im pretty sure both lines suffer when streaming youtube videos. However in my finding, it seems like if i choose higher resolution like 480p besides the standard 360p, i'll get faster speed around 100-400KBps. The lowest would be around 70-80KBps.
So does anyone facing the same problems like mine?
By da way, im located in klang area.

High ping / slow speed on US and EU. Test based on IP 218.111
US & EU link fµcked up. Worst things, connection dead randomly.



Previously, few hop able to reach the destination but now need more hop.

can anyone help to check whether my house can support 4Mbps?
cause i went to tm point and upgraded 2 days ago.. when i called 100 they say dunno wat one part already 4 Mbps, the other 2 still 1 Mbps... i dun quite get it... can someone enlighten me? =(

try to restart your modem.

bro i restarted twice... still get 1 Mbps only... how come T__T

very good snr margin. very stable line.
2046Kbps is 2Mbps line, dl speed should attain at 170++Kbps.
but not 4Mbps line yet.
modem not enough detail, cannot check ur maximum line speed.
