QUOTE(lucifah @ Jan 8 2015, 02:44 PM) most probably OEM taiwan. not original mitsu ones yeap, i reckon so. Because Mitsu quote me RM4k for the same kit.original mitsu ones are limited to the larger spoiler, side air dam and other small2 chrome bits I prefer the DAMD body kit for ASX.. but apparently no 1 brings it in to malaysia have to import from indonesia and its about RM2k before shipping |

QUOTE(DrPitchard @ Jan 12 2015, 10:24 PM) Can PM me on this too? Planning to get a new car soon, but not sure if I should go for the Ecosport, HRV or ASX. HRV newly launch, doubt they will give any discount. No idea on ecosport. Any big discounts would certainly help in my decision planning. Thanks! pmed |

Anyone knows the differences for this years production model vs previous year? And would it be worth paying extra 3k for the DE version. The rims are sick.
Considering the asx, xv, hrv and cx3 for my purchase mid year. |

Asx and XV should be the biggest of the bunch since its a C Segment Crossover. Considering the asx, xv, hrv and cx3 for my purchase mid year. HRV and CX3 are B segment Crossovers. Asx price quite a fair bit cheaper than the Xv and Asx is larger. Hrv and CX3 similar only due to price. Asx 2.0 C Segment vs 1.8 B segment HRV both should be same price. I'd go for the bigger car Imo. And knowing Honda, the base level HRV will not have alot of kit. You'll have to top up quite a bit for the GPS and leather seats while the ASX already comes with it at the base model. Test drive them all and see haha. |

Xv is at 110k now haaahah.
But I still like the interior of ASX. Haven't really compared other factors yet like performance, FC, maintainace etc. for the 4 cars. But yeah. I'll definitely test drive them first. Thanks for your input. |

Honestly the new breed of B segment OR STERTCHED B or some call them B+ segment crossovers like Honda HIV oops sorry HRV , Ford Ecosport, Pug 2008 , Suzuki S cross, etc. are all very superficial in a sense
They are actually SUV or crossover-styled cars without the real decent crossover height or elated driving seat position or oddball like Ecoport----having the height but short in length, narrow With the price range of ASX or that of Subaru XV that has fallen so great (if what Musiki say above is true), it is really hard for someone with best value proposition in mind to part their money for those new breeds instead of ASX |

Asx is a very reliable car. Don't think much to look out for. Wow first owners of the XV must be screaming and cursing. When it first came out the Xv was 150k! Subaru seriously killing their earlier customers.
Anyway before buying the XV check out the Subaru service centers. There are not very many so you might need to see if that's ok with you before buying. |

QUOTE(ivanpei @ Jan 7 2015, 05:12 PM) White not that hard to take care of lar. But the dust stains are quite obvious after a while. Car wash required every 2 weeks minimum for it not to be too obvious. Which isn't really very high maintainence to me lar. Every weekend I have to wash. If it rains, then whenever it is dirty, I wash. |

Been driving mine for almost 5 months, my opinion:
- Engine abit loud, and smoky smell when I rev it at low gear to almost 4k rpm - Water like to sit on the bottom part of the rear windscreen, causing lots of water stain ( black car, very visible) - RM100 petrol (ron95) can get me around 430KM normal city driving. How are yours? - Mine is black, can see the paint job not very smooth, I think its time to wax it... - the good stuff is, it looks awesome in black( never see another black ASX in penang so far), aircon very cold, good speakers, GPS can choose hokkien dialect....wtf, very vroooomm can chase A250...
