Hi sorry for my noobie question, I have downloaded the files as well as FlashTool, and have read the tutorial on it, but since it is my first time trying to flash I just wanna to confirm something:

Since I have both file+tool above and put the FTF in FlashTool firmware, all I should do now is just Flash it to my phone and wait, then connect to SEUS/PC Companion only right? Is there any sub effect since this flashing may change my device original region (branded SG device 1237=0333)?

Can't really wait for my region device to get update and wish to see 2.3 ASAP

since u flash the ftf files...it indeed will change ur kit version (1237-0333)...after u flash to GB the kit version will stay changed...juz incase u want back ur customization version u need to flash back to ur old stock firmware...if i`m not mistaken..

If you able to be patient, better wait for our region to be out, unless if you update the other region, and our region then out, and you are able to change back to our region.. then go on to your update.

damn, i heard that 32fps cap is not removed in GB, is there somehow a way we do it ourself? let say installing a custom kernel, recently my friend just bought an ARC, and i was like WOW!!! super mega imba smooth, like a dual core phone

well, just finish updated it when i woke up, everything is not bad, everything is quite smooth and fast, except for screen transition and drawer switching, not saying that it's laggy, but my 2.1 custom rom is smoother, maybe i should change the launcher, and why it can't detect my sd card? do i need to format it?

You need to flash to 2.1.B.0.1 firmware then update using PCC.

damn, your sd card is alright? i had the same problem with some user in xda, can't detect sd card, see la later try reboot see can fix or not, but now not using stock launcher, using launcher pro, imba smooth, lol!! of course la coz the launcher itself is good compared to stock, hehe

did SE GB team are working today and tomorrow ? or they just gone for weekend? I had to wait like hell.

haha, same, me too, i slept at 4am, and when i wake up just now, voila! GB is on my hand! by what's your quadrant score? i got 988 at the 1st time, i thought it suppose to be higher?

some1 in xda got 14xx....nvm juz w8 for the custom kernel by Z...unlocked fps..sure got tremondous smooth...

er...i m currently running WB 6.1.3 with bb67...what am i suppose to do now to update to GB?

Haven't checked. In fact I haven't installed a single app and enjoying the 'lightness' of the UI for now. I've only installed Flash 10.3 which I've never had before so a bit jakun lah

Sony Ericsson PC Companion 2.0 still can't get update. BTW SEUS and Sony Ericsson PC Companion 2.0 it is two different program?

Then i waited it to cache somemore thing, and i ran again the quadrant test and i got 1000+.. Kinda disappointed. Custom froyo and z kernel hit 1300 easily.

I wonder how eugene get 1500.
