WIFI affect the speed and will make it hang?

as the common issues of SGA, switch on WIFI for long will cause the hang/SOD (screen of death)
as my understand from SGA users here is due to SGA switch to other location while u switched on wifi...

so far i dont have hang issues as i wont switch SGA for long and i stationary at the same location when switch on wifi...

Im not sure about that.. I got a totally random SOD.. Once because i forgot to switch off wifi when i go to sleep.. The other 2 i got after taking call while browsing.. 2 of em at home and 1 at the office.. Both of which i stay at the same location.. Some ppl even got once a day SOD..

so after all, it is no relate to lack of RAM?

perhaps try to switch off wifi tonight see have any any differences or not...

Not really.. Some say it froyo problem..

I always switch off wifi when not using.. Last SOD i got is around last week.. On wifi around 2 hours, after taking calls, blank.. Haha! But bcoz it only happen once in a while, not really a big prob for me

and its confirmed by Samsung to pushed Gingerbread 2.3.3 update in Galaxy Ace. So, dont expected too much for ver 2.3.4.. Hoping coming to Asia by end of this month or early July.

hmm... tat mean it is a normal problem for all user of ace, not my own problem...

If seller repairs for RM250 its a decent price IF its still covered under samsung warranty.

A compatible screen + digitizer is about RM120... but you void your warranty... and this doesn't include service charges... a regular shop would charge you at least RM200 to repair.

Just gave it a try just now and it worked, but when i wiped and dry it some dust stick to it again So next time have to be more careful.....
This was how i put in water.....i put the cover in the water and let the dust float up

u better go to the official samsung service center...
in klang valley there r 2...
1 in plaza berjaya, in front of berjaya times square...
the other one is at the side of federal highway next 2 avon...
or u can call samsung first at their hotline n ask them the nearest service center near u

err....where u buy this phone ?

some of the seller very good, they know how to warranty your phone by free.

if u r so lucky, they will help u to send warranty by free.

trust me, some of that know the procedure to warranty, even u break it urself, they can make story to samsung service center(mayb they are their friend.)

FROYO? i upgraded my wife's SG Ace still got SOD. BUT very LESS than FROYO.
While she is using stock ROM version KC1 SOD almost 3-4 in a week.. so I upgraded her to GB 2.3.4 and problem is lesser!!.. but GB on SG Ace is laggy..

perhaps get a epikcase casing instead, no worry about dust...

my wifi connection when connect to the secure wifi connection (with psswrd) it can work, but when i try to connect to any open wifi connection then it show connected but i could not surf do any other stuffs (using internet). does any one have this problem? how to solve it?

does it provide color other than black and white?

some of opened wifi no guarantee able to connect internet due to the reason as below...
1. congestion of traffic
2. static IP may required

maybe u should try the opened wifi at Mcd or starbuck instead

SGA come with black (unflat surface) and white (flat surface) for back cover...
