Have tried set the "Wi-FI sleep policy" to "Never" ... no SOD encounter ... baseband DXKC1.

No JuiceDefender installed or other battery saving apps.
*
i did same setting.. and no JuiceDefender nor task killer installed.

i just use normal task manager (by pressing home button 2-3 secs)

SOD occured this morning.. tongue.gif after 12 days w/o any problems

Cannot remove... you're stuck with it forever.  Factory reset will help.

Just joking.  Just press and hold the app, then when it vibrates, drag it to the bottom of the screen.
*
hehe.. but how about the standard icon on the dockbar? CALL | PHONEBOOK | SMS and Apps Drawer.. can it be replaced?

i tried the method by pressing menu..edit.. etc etc.. nothing can remove or replace the icon..

Root your phone and install move2sd enabler
*
between move2sd AND standard 'move to sd' via settings/applications/manage applications

which one is better? is it move2sd completely move 100% into SD?

i nvr install move2sd b4.. only use standard built-in move to sd in froyo..

I having the same problem with you in gun bros. samurai and assasin I am not interested in, haha.
Zenonia I can play it well. Its a nice RPG game =D
*
I think SG Ace is not supported due to gpu limitation .. coz i read in a Guerrella Bob's blog saying LG Optimus One is NOT supported..which remind me about SG Ace also using same cpu n chipset MSM7227 n adreno 200

QUOTE
What are the unsupported Android devices?

Some Android devices don’t have Floating Point or Vector Units, so our game engine can’t run on them.
These are:

    * LG Optimus V (Virgin Mobile)
    * LG Optimus One P500
    * Orange San Francisco / ZTE Blade
    * SE X10 mini
    * Samsung Galaxy 580

I thought SG Ace already had app2sd..(enabled by Froyo). Because after I installed any games or apps.. I just use the setting inside SETINGS -> APPLICATIONS -> MANAGE APPLICATIONS and MOVE TO SD.. its not 100% move all to SD but it does the job rather than nothing at all.

so what is the major different about Link2sd and Move2SD?

so a guy from XDA explained to me..
QUOTE
The Froyo way, Apps2SD or Move2SD Enabler still store the dex and library files needed for the application to run, on the internal storage. You will see your /data/dalvik-cache takes up the most space because of this. Whereas in Link2SD method, all of these files are physically stored on your SD card on a second partition which is mounted at boot. They are simply symbolic linked with the original locations.

higher speed never mean it will have better performance. cpu architecture is different
*
Yep.. ARM11 and Cortex A8 is totally different.. and adreno 200 vs PowerVR SGX535..

even SGX530 much better than Adreno 200 in small margin..

many ppl talk about SOD here, but what that actually?? can explain to me??
*
SOD happens when u turn on WIFI for longer period... well thats what happened to my wife's ace..
turn off WIFI.. no SOD.. but so far it happened 5-6 times since bought it.

any1 here tried gingerbread 2.3.4? heard the quadrant score is higher than Galaxy S..
camera's picture seems a bit better and clearer. video same as 2.3.3 in VGA mode 640x480.

other than that some claimed that 2.3.4 support flash.. but i dont think so. maybe it as Javascript not the Flash itself.

QUOTE
YES ITS TRUE

Some Chinese Developers of android mipad device have modded the original ADOBE FLASH 10.1 APP for android and made it compatible for most ARMv6 and ARMv7 ( arm 11 family ) devices.

the app is found to be working on most android devices with ARMv6 and ARMv7 phones like LG OPTIMUS ONE , XPERIA X8 , ZTE blade , Samsung prevail, etc..

Instructions:
1. Download and copy to sdcard.
2. Use a file manager and navigate to the apk, install it.
3. Reboot the phone and all done .

Additional notes:
* Make sure to have "unknown sources" enabled on settings > applications.
* It won't work on Opera Mini.
* Works with both froyo and gingerbread (confirmed).
* Works best with dolphin browser HD

DOWNLOAD IT FROM HERE.....

Not really.. Some say it froyo problem..
I always switch off wifi when not using.. Last SOD i got is around last week.. On wifi around 2 hours, after taking calls, blank.. Haha! But bcoz it only happen once in a while, not really a big prob for me smile.gif
*
FROYO? hmm.gif i upgraded my wife's SG Ace still got SOD. BUT very LESS than FROYO.
While she is using stock ROM version KC1 SOD almost 3-4 in a week.. so I upgraded her to GB 2.3.4 and problem is lesser!!.. but GB on SG Ace is laggy..
