For me i prefer X-Mini speaker.. listen to it and you will know..

The Ferox sound to me is so-so only.. can listen but sound quality wise not tat good.. Compares to a X-Mini, its louder and better clarity..

Try listen to a working unit and share ur experience.. tongue.gif

I have asked x-mini to send me some of their products for me to review but till now still got no response from them laugh.gif

so razer actually fixed the z-axis issue? and if once the new firmware for the cursor freeze issue been rectified, then everythin will b fine m i right? blink.gif

According to some of the users in Overclock.net, the z-axis problem still exist. Perhaps it's due to the Philips Twin Eye sensor (one of the sensor for its dual sensor) smile.gif

I dont know about you guys but the quality for razer products is seriously disappointing! unsure.gif

1st. Bought my Razer Mamba on November 2010. Stop working on February 2011. and has been replaced with a new one and still using until now.

2nd. Bought my Razer Arctosa on december 2010. Became silly only a month later. It suddenly typing'////////////////////' everytime im trying to type something on the keyboard. its so annoying. Replaced with Logitech product after that.

The only product im fully satisfied is my razer scarab. Lucky the mouse pad doesn't connect to the computer. if not, the fella also probably got the same problem. doh.gif

Well, price wise X-Mini surely at an advantage there but dont forget the Ferox has Left and Right speaker while X-mini is just a mono 1..

depends on people listening tho.. i think x-mini sound better compared to ferox..
I think X-mini is more bassy, i mean you get more bass from it.. The Ferox 1st unit i tried the sound come out like radio quality, so i tot it was the 1st ferox problem, open a 2nd box and try same thing happen, customer disappointed hence chose X-Mini as well..
*
yeap i heard many reviews saying that x-mini is more bassy.

the scarab would flex/bend if exposed to heat in a period of time(direct sunlight & etc).

Well, that makes razer products are super faulty aren't they?. I keep all my stuff neat and nicely especially when i bought it more than 100 bucks e.g razer. If the products are kept nicely and working normally I will be satisfied, but the problems came when all things kept nicely, but became faulty. cry.gif so sad~

Maybe its depends on luck.
I wish my Mamba stop working now and replace a new one lol.... cos its so sticky now.

So far, Razer failed me almost all types of product except headphone(Razer Orca only:) )

See. I can expect another unhappy customer around. sleep.gif It seems like razer didn't actually care about the build quality. instead, they are focusing on the product designs, box and performance. Don't get me wrong, I love razer products. in fact I love any products that put emphasize on the designs. Just that, make sure the build quality is on par with others. Make it durable, so people can appreciate more.

I'm thinking of getting razer onza next on the list, but i read many people complaining the controller stop working/ faulty after a month or two. unsure.gif

To be frank, i also feel razer product quality is a bit on the low side. But i still use them for the technology and egornomic design.

That's why I switch to Logitech as they make superb peripherals. thumbup.gif The quality of their mouse isn't that great for the past products I have used such as Razer DA BE, Razer Ferox, Razer Naga Epic and etc. smile.gif

Razer product's technology and designs are good,
but they need to stress a bit on quality control...

im thinking of that also,
even if their production in china is great in time per product ,
but that's no use when people start hating their production quality...
they should open new factory in a country that can provide better worker to control the quality,

i would recommend them malaysia though thumbup.gif thumbup.gif
or perhaps philippines..

Haih... I think Razer need to revise their Quality Control schemes... It is so wasted if you put all your efforts into the design and technology of the products but it failed in the quality.... it is just sad.... where is the old Razer when you still remember it for it's real "Made by Gamers, For Gamers"????

they should change their slogan and add something like this
QUOTE
Designed By Gamers, Made in China for Gamers"

Added : althou, it's made in China, quality will heavily depends on frequent quality check on their product in order to maintain the quality.

Or you guys try to check serial numbers and try to locate which product comes from certain factory(which lack of quality check)
Since i know few razer users that doesn't face quality issue, which makes me believe there might be certain manufacturer/factory which does not maintain quality check.(since market are so big, i don't think one factory/manufacturer is able to supply whole world demand.)

But as always, it's luck, if you're lucky, it's good, if you're unlucky, then sadly, you have to RMA(Congratulation, you have entered Lottery Event which is all mouse are being repair and sent out without checking)

Sad. If things going on like this, in the next 3-4 years they might 'gulung tikar'. shakehead.gif
but that's not gonna happen. people will still buy their products despite the flaw. The design is too awesome to be left out. doh.gif

sometime if you are lucky, you'll get a full working set that doesn't come with problems.
