To support the previous post, it's more worth investing in the Tournament Edition as well compared to the standard version. Apparently the standard one feels a bit plastic.

Piranha vs. Carcharias? Anyone? Sorry if this is the same newfaq question that have been asked like 1,000,000 times before.

I need to get one of these, but I'm more keen on getting the Piranha due to the blue led. ROFLMAO

IMO , go for Carcharias while your spending for a headset , feels more comfortable after longer period of playing/using it...

Edit : Carcharias has a more bigger ear pcushions that covers the ear and advantage towards using it , so most of the music is channeled into your ears instead to the surroundings which proves more affective when playing at night so that you can't wake up your angry room mate

Ok, obviously that Carcharias is more comfy, still I'm still tempted to get Piranha for the sake of blue LED "blings"

from those pictures, it looks like it is quite a decent headset. But wait till you see a real unit, then you'll be wondering why does so many people wants to get Piranha?

hi, any DeathAdder Black Edition user here??? i heard it is different build material with regular DA, means different grab feel.

0168257061 is one of the owner of the DA Black Edition. By looking at his photo, the material looks very different.

Yup. Instead of the glossy at the side, they changed it into rubber
and if I'm not mistaken, the scroll wheel is different and the LED is gone.

I'd prefer normal edition DA. feels like my Mamba 100%

tried regular DA, the feel really very nice, but price of black edition is very similar, have to knw more info b4 purchase.

Bling bling means the blue LED on the DeathAdder. The black edition does not have any LED. However, the grip is definitely better on the black edition making it more comfortable for gaming. It is also branded as a limited edition mouse.

its not made from rubber, just coated.

and u'll rub the layer off after some time.
